My point is the loss of those picks is why there’s no Utica really nhlers and if you say Baretschi for 2nd then. Then you already have an nhler even before that 2nd developed. Thus theres not any Utica ready nhlers this season.

thats my point...as I know you know

do I have to kill the insecure wolves in the the lame pack

JB traded 2016 2nd round pick to Fla in Gud deal. JB acquired 2016 2nd round pick Jonathan Dahlen

JB traded 2016 2nd round pick with Bonino Clendenning for Sutter and a 3rd, JB acquired 2016 2nd round pick for Bieksa

JB traded 2014 second round pick for Linden Vey oops! JB Acquired 2014 2nd round pick for J Gar hooray

so for my count thats, 3 seconds traded and 3 seconds acquired of the same draft year not counting the Baer trade which you agree was a good trade. So I guess what I'm trying to say here is.....

Thing is i dont think it was a spelling mistake. You just have no idea what you're talking about.  Post 4 examples pf players that dont support your theory whilts spelling yheir names incorrectly.

Get a life man!!!!

Everytime I see you joker's complain about someone's spelling mistakes....it just makes me cringe...

This is a hockey forum not your mother's spelling bee...

.....Again people...get a life...try the great outdoors...it works wonders for getting the petty non-consequential crap out of your head...!

Again if you're trying to convince people of your greater hockey knowlege you know the correct spelling of Hansen and Neely. Combine that with his claims to them struggling in the AHL being completely wrong and using "teached", I don't regret calling buddy out.

I mean, he's got you though. Lol. People are crying about picks that from a certain point of view we got back. And another point about NHL ready Utica players, a 2nd round pick graduated from Utica just this season, may have heard of him. His name is Thatcher Demko. Gaudette also graduated outta Utica to the NHL this season. Could argue Utica also produced Brisebois and Sautner for us. Yeah, they aren't as crisp/flashy but they weren't really expected to be top end players for us even when drafted/acquired.

Players drafted outta College, Russia or Sweden generally do all their developing there and never make it to Utica. So the prospects that do go to Utica are long shot prospects or just not as highly touted prospects. And by extension makes Utica look worse than it really is at developing players. Are we having a massive influx of players graduate from Utica to the NHL? No, but it's not cause Utica is bad at developing it's cause our top prospects aren't developing there. They develop where they were drafted out of and rightfully so. They chose that path for a reason. Whether it be because of school or because the league is closer to home.

73Percent you sound just a like classic case of someone with very very low Self Esteem

But really it’s common in most of us.

Signs someone has low self esteem

1. Knock you down

2. One up you

3. Discredit and argue with anything you say

4. Brag

5. Make you feel quilt

6. Are in decisive

7. Take attendance at social functions

8. Can’t spend time alone

9. Put others down and talk behind backs

10. Are surrounded by extremely controlling, dominant family members or close friends

11. Pretend they like big, loud and crazy events

12. Needs to be part of all gossip and all plans

13. Exaggerates

14. They’re glass half full kind of people

15. Quick to judge and remain stubborn on an opinion

Once they form an opinion on something, there’s no changing their mind because it would mean that they have made a mistake.

This is the biggest fear of someone with low esteem.

Also 73percent do you have an eating disorder, if you do it’s ok.....we are all Canuck fans

Utica didn't develop Gaudette, he was ready for that level already

Brisebois is a -4 with no points, if we go by CDC logic that's a benching and he better be traded

Sautner is 2 points in 17gp and -2, again another traded candidate.

In all seriousness neither of them would be missed if swapped out, we really didn't develop anyone in the AHL, our depth is really really lacking and I don't think that's on the players.

Okay this is seriously one of the worst arguments I've seen in the 10 years I've been here on the forums. If you need to use someone's spelling as an argument, you've lost the argument. Period.

Sorry, but I have no respect for people who feel the need to put spelling before hockey on a hockey forum. All it does is expose you rather than the person you are "calling out". Get a life.

And I agree with cyoung. Let's talk about hockey. Not spelling.

You're that easily offended from a forum about a hockey team?

Whoever apologizes first here is the bigger man in my opinion.

Yep he is a good one. I took a look at his stats throughout his playing career. There is no way you can put up points at every level and then just fall off a cliff. I have a feeling he will work it out over the off season, come back with a mans physique and really show everyone next year. He definitely has the tools, he just needs to figure out how to use them at this level. It will be exciting once he does, some more firepower for the Canucks. I tell you then next 5 years are going to be fun to watch, these kids are going to light it up and make hockey fun again.

The wall he hit the the same wall affecting everyone in Utica, no NHL looking prospects produced out of Utica this year, how bad is that?

Okay I've decided to look at the current top new crop of teams and examine their rosters....

For Calgary

-Garnet Hathaway played full four years at a college and then had fairly average AHL numbers in the next three seasons.

2013-14 Abbotsford Heat AHL 8 0 0 0
2014-15 Adirondack Flames AHL 72 19 17 36
2015-16 Stockton Heat AHL 44 8 13 21

For Tampa

-Yanni Gourde's numbers from his 4th year in the Q, going into the AHL

2011-12 Victoriaville Tigres QMJHL 68 37 87 124
2011-12 Worcester Sharks AHL 4 1 2 3
2012-13 Worcester Sharks AHL 54 8 6 14

Honestly, it's hard to find prominent forwards that didn't outperform Lind in their AHL careers however after examining the top three teams you will find that a lot of players stayed in Junior or College for three or four years overall. It's a good reminder for most of the fans in the fact that players that aren't picked in the first round often need an extra year or two of development. We're always eager for a player to zoom through their development years as we want them in yesterday's lineup on our NHL team.
