His eyes always looked strangely Japanese, very mellow, laughed and joked around a lot... I liked the guy! A & B sound. The culture was a lot like a good hockey team. Everybody was into music like players are hockey. Had a few player customers as well.I still collect CD's. 3000 plus. Quite a few freebies from the a-b days. Cant bear to use I tunes. Nor get tempted to just use Spotify. And my daughter endlessly teases me for how much I spend. I put on music instead of John & John every time the game starts going sour. But watch in the background. He now has 54 points (21 goals, 33 assists) in 32 games. He is also on a 10-game point streak. His goal: The last time we had a prospect that wore number 16 turned out pretty well. I do have a 6 pack changer in my car. Usually have 30 odd cd's in my car, all the pockets full? Back in the day I used to have duall 15'' & 4 8'' Kicker subs, on a 2500 watt Rockford amps. Great way to get wired up on the way to work! I have all my cd's in my media computer these, connected to a kick ass sound system. So I can pick and choose, mellow or rock out.

Popular Post Dixon Ward
I have been comparing Lind to Glass all year. At this point, stats wise, it is a dead heat. Lind with more ppg and Glass with better +/-. It is also interesting to compare him to Kiefer Bellows. Bellows was drated 19th the year before in what was considered a stronger draft if memory serves. Bellows has 13 less points in 1 less game. Better +/-. He is 1 yr older and was drafted higher. I think he has a bit less of and edge than Lind as well. Begs the question "why isn't anyone taking Kole Lind?" 2

Glass is keeping up but he also has Kieffer Bellows on his line. Dillon Dube when he’s there for Kelowna gets the top line pushing Lind to the 2nd line where he doesn’t have as much help on his line as his peers we occasionally compare him to. Can’t help but wonder how much better he’d be doing if he had somebody like Bellows on his line.
Tiger-Hearted
Only 1 assist in a 6-2 win in Seattle. Lind must be battling the flu or something because he has just 1 goal in his past 6 games.

You realize that scoring is hard and the WHL is an elite league of some of the best U20 players in the world? McDavid didn’t score for 7 games - did he have the flu? Kid is is playing well and working on school, hockey and just keeping life in perspective - enjoy it and let him develop.

If I want to criticize a prospect or question his lack of production, that is my right. I happen to really like Lind but his goalscoring is tailing off a bit in my view. Disagree with me? That's fine. It's the condescending and confrontational way you come across in your disagreement. Nevertheless, have a nice day. Lind is probably more of a play maker than a goal scorer anyhow. There was that crazy stat about how many of his points were primary assists, was like 80% of something.

That makes a ton of sense. 80% of his points being primary assists is very impressive.
