SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Why isn’t Button ranking Kole Lind? Just figured I’d post this here so people don’t have to complain about the Lind omission in the other player threads. Probably hard enough for TSN to list a Canucks prospect number 1. Lind is as good as any of the forwards listed in the 30-50 range. Oh well he's a great prospect. Don't need a list to know that. 1

That was my thought process as well. There are 31 other teams in this league and probably wanted to spread some wealth instead of dipping into our pool. There’s no doubt he deserves to be on it but this can be a good thing because we all know how Lind reacts to getting snubbed.

Ya, it's pretty awesome that we have 5 in the top 50 and that's without Lind who is outscoring Glass, Steel, Bellows, Dube and Rassmusen. Hopefully Lind takes notice and it puts an even bigger chip on his shoulder.

And without dipietro who team Canada thought was the third best junior goalie in Canada.
Qwags
Why didn't Button put Kole "Taken Last in Elementary School" Lind on his Top 50?
Derp...
Seems like he was omitted due to unforseen circumstances. Button didnt expect to have that many good Canuck prospects already. To be fair though he is in his 4th WHL season compared to others producing at a similar rate in their 3rd. Lots of upside with Lind though.

Rollieo Del Fuego
Regardless we all know we have 6-7 of the top 50 prospects with Lind and Gadjovich and that is why we will be relevant as soon as next year!!! The kids are going to knock down the door.... 1

Lots of upside with Lind though. Brayden Burke: 5th year. Glen Gawdin: 6th year Heponiemi: 2nd year, but he's 19, same age as Lind Jayden Haldgewachs: 6th year (how do you pronounce that one???) Mathew Philips: 4th year Patrik Bajkov: 5th year Ty Lewis: 4th year Tyler Steenbergen: 4th year Cameron Hebig: 4th year, but 21 years old. Everyone above him in WHL scoring are same age or older. Bellerive is tied in points, lower in standings due to goals for and is the only player within 5 points younger than Lind. Add to that the fact that Lind drives the offence on the Rockets and I think we have a potential beauty here. 3 4

Tiger-Hearted
Because Lind is a right winger with great playmaking ability and Pettersson having a wicked shot, I can envision the two of them playing together on the same line. A natural fit for both.

Only Gaudette might make the team and he'll be learning the pro game for 2 or 3 years before becoming a difference maker. None of the rest will be with the Canucks. Petterson is the closest and he'll need at least one year in Utica. When he does make the Canucks even then he'll take a year or two to become a difference maker. Horvat is an example. He's great but look how long it took him to get here.

How high was strome on that list and can still barely make an impact.

Yeah I think our future RW depth starts with Boeser, from there we'll see how Lind and Virtanen develop but I'd imagine they'll be our middle 6 RW's in one order or another, down the line.
