Gaudette Celly 28,001 Posted May 28, 2018 5 of 7. Can Jimbo make it 6 by training camp? They said at the draft they expected Gunnarsson to stay in Sweden for one year. Gotta be a record, if not plain remarkable.

And I’d be willing to bet at least one, likely two, and quite possibly all three of Rathbone, Gunnarsson, and Brassard also get signed eventually. Tre Mac 10,369 Posted May 29, 2018 The Canucks are working on a clause in DiPietro's contract that he must part his hair down the middle.

Qwags 17,058 Posted May 29, 2018 I remember that the 2017 draft was supposed to be a very weak draft. It's looking rather great for us.
Analyst82 227 Posted May 29, 2018 Wonder if signing DiPietro means Demko going to be with the big club next year.

I believe DiPietro will still be in Jnr next year so will still need Demko for Utica unless he absolutely steals the crease in training camp.

I remember seeing a lot of conflicting reports. Some saying weak, and some saying that it wasn't weak as a whole, but just not as top heavy as the previous drafts. Either way, I'm loving the draft for us.
