Just reminding folks that listening to offers on Tavares. As well as all 3 VGK players we have. Reminder though that a top player like Tavares and red hot players on a Stanley cup contender don't come cheap....

Sitting 1st place in the central and selling guys like JT and VGK players?

Shows you don't think NYI and VGK will go deep into the playoffs ;)

TBH I think there's a chance both teams make their conf finals and 1 may hit SCF

Enstrom available as a pure rental with 50% retain for a 4th, if anyone would like a splash of Jets points for the playoffs. His play has never translated well for fantasy, but he should play big minutes for a good team in the playoffs as he fully comes back from injury. Ballpark 2ppg for 2.8M.

Vancouver is still shopping some of its players as well, Bobby Ryan and Patrick maroon included. Both having great season still fantasy points wise, just on non-playoff teams. It's really Bobby Ryan maybe shop this this summer. Nonetheless they are both available

Another player who we just recently decided we are going to look into shopping, is Mikael Backlund. If anyone is interested in him give me a holler and we can talk

Flyers looking to talk trades.

On the trade block:

Sami Vatanen 3.16 Pts/game on a playoff team in New Jersey

Brent Seabrook 3.4 Pts/game

Ideally looking for a dman for forward type of deal

Ho-sang name has been talked about lately listening to offers. Ideally a trade of him for someone playing in the NHL now. Ideal a young forward

I actually think Vegas could win the cup. So why not try to sell one of my 3 players high. I have 3 so I can afford to lose one. As for Tavares, I'm cool wit's keeping or trading him. I lack serious depth and youth on my team as I built a contender of a team. But with my team doing much better then even I thought, again, I can afford to lose a really good player to bring in a bunch of assets.

Has nothing to do with what I think about teams and there chances.

You're selling from a position of strength - that's the ideal position as it means you don't have to gamble / risk to get ahead. Sensible plan.

Florida Panthers at the all-star break.

Comfortably in the playoffs at this point, we hope to essentially continue on and avoid injuries.

Leading players!

FP/G

1. Blake Wheeler 6 -- Stud, at half price, still over the moon about this acquisition.

2. Milan Lucic 4.62 -- Good player, team sucks. **Will look to move him**

3. Nikita Zaitsev 4.6 -- Shot block monster, should be back from injury soon.

4. TJ Oshie 4.48 -- Does what he does.

5. Jordan Eberle 4.18 -- Benefiting from the Islanders high scoring.

Overall fantasy point leader

1. Blake Wheeler 299.75 - As above.

2. Milan Lucic 226.25 - As above.

3. Jordan Eberle 209 - As above.

4. Nicklas Backstrom 200 -- Not leading in any category, but 4th overall. Hmmmm.

Goals

1. JVR 19 -- Not a strong area for this team, we'll leave it there!

Assists

1. Blake Wheeler 40 -- Stud.12 more than #2 on my team.

+/-

1. Esa Lindell +17 -- Kinda surprised about that one, but nice to see.

2. Zach Hyman +15 -- Matthews sidekick.

3. Adrian Kempe +10 -- Also surprised about this!

Blocks

1. Derek Forbort 97 -- Recently injured, hopefully not too bad.

2. Nikita Zaitsev 94 -- 3 fewer than Forbort but 14 fewer games played!

3. Dion Phaneuf 91 -- Not worth 7 million....

Hits

1. Milan Lucic 146 -- Well ahead of the rest.

2. Blake Coleman 109 -- Rookie leaving his mark.

Would anyone be interested if I made a 2018 Mock Puck draft? Something to pass the time over the all star break

Am I the only one who actually agrees with the goalie interference rulings lately?

The Oilers goal in OT was pretty darn obvious to me. You can’t enter the crease and contact the goalie... Incidental or not. Mathews goal was the same thing.

I think the players mostly just want consistency. I am pro-protecting the goalies as long as the rulings are the same every time. Did you see that one from a while ago where a player got hooked on Price's pad and dragged him out of the crease? Ended up 10 feet to the side of the net while the other team scored. No goalie-interference, goal counted. Then sometimes you nudge their stick for a second outside of the crease and get a call.

Congratulations to Jack Roslovic on his first career NHL goal and Robin Lehner on his back to back shutouts!

We'd also like to commend Tanner Laczynski on his fantastic play this season with 34 points in 24 games, putting him tied for 3rd overall in NCAA scoring.

I think it was bull$&!#. If you ask me, Rittich had enough time to get up and try to get across the crease and McDavid never impeded his movement. Also given the fact that Chicago's goal counted the other night with Anisimov's knee on Freddy Anderson's back it makes it look pretty bad.
