Deep line up as a whole.

Insanely good defense!  Klefbom, 3rd pair. Pulock, not in top 8...

He's probably got the best overall roster of skaters. His goalies are a huge drop off though...

Hes got Ryan Millers backup as his starter...

Miller probably gonna win vezina this year and Gibby gonna keep that bench nice and warm ;)

(I hope... Actually nvm I hope Marky or Nilsson wins vezina)

Who has Nilsson?

With the likes of Iginla and Gionta's playing careers still also up in the air, Dallas is still looking for some forwards to better fill out the roster. Picks and minor league players are available to do so, as well as Henrik Zetterberg, Craig Anderson and a couple more

It's funny, near the end of the regular season last year, I was watching a chunk of a Habs game, and saw Dwight King score a beauty of a goal. I thought to myself, "looks like Montreal made a nice pickup". I thought that at the time of the trade as well.

But then later I checked on him, and found that goal was literally the only useful thing he did for Montreal the whole time he was there.

Would like to thank @pmalina for the quick negotiations. We literally were just kicking tires with this and it worked out in the way that Pat is now a Vancouver Canucks. Welcome! With Pat looking to be McDavids wing man again this year and the Oilers irl looking to be near top of the league this deal was a no brainer. We were high on Tom but ultimately with the Oilers direction and Pat a more proven PWF we couldn't resist. We wish Tom all the best in SJ.

I'd say another deal of many in the Pacific, but this time between 2 Pacific teams

Thanks to @Master Mind

Vancouver is looking to see what kind if interest there would be in Cody Eakin. We know his struggles last year may have hurt his value but he is in line for a bounce back year on a new refreshed Vegas squad.

Also still taking offer on Zach Parise.

Got the itch to have some trade talks

To us, no news has been good news this off-season.

We tinkered with moving Corey Perry. Will tinker with moving Erik Johnson for those that want outstanding D point production. To alleviate cap pressure next summer. We will consider an ongoing shift of any non play-off player for play off players. Colin Miller, Troy Stecher & Jordan Martinook are good young players that may interest?

But nothing of significant substance surfaced. And we're all the better for it this year. We only made two minor trades this off season. All though trading Kovalchuk might not have been minor?  And replaced Chad Johnson who we lost to expansion, with Markstrom to keep our net stable. We signed D depth Yaroslav Dyblenko & Petteri Lindbohm. Both whom we believe will get NHL games this year. YD lots? But in summary, since just before the deadline; we have also added Brady Skjei, Troy Stecher, Jussi Jokinen, Dyblenko & Calvin De Haan. Without taking anyone of significance out of the line up from last year.

We also anticipate the NHL arrivals of Travis Sanheim, already mentioned Yaroslav Dyblenko, Joel Eriksson Ek. The filtered integration of Nicholas Baptiste, Mark Jankowski, Tristan Jarry & Nikita Scherbak. And an inherent boost of steady growth from of an outstanding tier of young players; Mika Zibanejad, Robbi Fabbri, Andre Burakovsky, Evander Kane, Devin Shore, William Nylander, Skjei, Noah Hanafin & Josh Morrisey.

All of these young players, plus Colin Miller, Alex Pietrangelo, Alex Radulov & Jokinen potentially have had summers landing them in bigger roles this year than last year.

We anticipate a cracker year! 5500 plus points? Its all about posturing for the play-off's already...

Kane - Zibanejad - Radulov

Fabbri - Nylander - Perry

Rafl - Erikkson Ek - Burakovsky

Martinook - Pageau - Jokinen

Kruger - Shore

Johnson - Pietrangelo

De Haan - Skjei

Hanafin - Morrisey

Miller - Stecher

Rask

Markstrom

On the cusp, will shuffle space & may have to make room for; Jankowski, Sanheim, Dyblenko, Scherback, Baptiste, Zane McIntyre, Tristan Jarry, possibly Lindbohm

In the system; Tyler Parsons, Callum Booth, Filip Westerlund, Cal Foote, Rob O'Gara, David Musil, Tarmo Reunanen, Chad Krys, Matt Gryzelcyk, Jakob Galvas, Macoy Erkamps, Lucas Carlsson, Filip Berglund, Henrik Borgstrom, Eetu Tulola, Anatoly Golyshev, Yegor Korshkov, Andrew Aggozino, Johan Sundstrom, Linus Olund, Rickard Hugg
