Have no fear, after intensive research we have triangulated a crucial role for Louis over the next 4 years. A few hours of furious craft-time and copious coils of yellow fabric later: I give you our new team mascot! Long live Louis the Buffaslug. May he live long and successfully avoid salt. Sygvard
16 minutes ago, Master Mind said: The delight grows day by day. For everyone's amusement I have dug up the exact contract offer we gave our new team mascot: "Louis has done an admirable job as a backup for us, and we believe in his potential. We have every intention to groom him as the successor to Rinne; getting the opportunity to take over more minutes as Rinne ages. Our proposed contract more than doubles his current salary at respectable term; which we feel will clarify our faith in his future role. He will make well above the average backup salary, despite playing in a backup role for Buffalo (and Arizona) this year. By the end of his 4 year gap contract we believe that Rinne will be retired, and Louis will have the opportunity to sign as a UFA undisputed starter while still under the age of 30." Feel free to bounce that one off me any time I am feeling overly clever.

D-Money
Things are moving along smoothly in Columbus. After some slow starts, players like Michael Frolik, Mike Hoffman, Antoine Roussel, Jeff Petry, and Dmitry Orlov had strong weeks. The team is starting to hit its stride, and had the 2nd-most Fpts in the league in the last week. Mark Scheifele, in particular, has gone full beast-mode, with 42.5 Fpts in his last 4 games! Nino Niederreiter has returned from his injury, and been producing. We're hoping to get #2 defenseman Matt Niskanen back soon. So hopefully this run will continue. Talks are heating up around Cody McLeod and Antoine Roussel. We may decide to make a move on one of them in the coming days. PM myself and @Monty if you're interested. Sestito'sHandMadeVodka
HI Everybody! For your daily Blake Wheeler update, Wheeler had another 4 point night last night, rising to third in league scoring, as well as third in fantasy points per game. Golly Gee Whizz he's nice to have on a team! And now, back to your regularly scheduled CDC Puck chirp wars.
