CDC Puck 2017/18

The Buffalo Sabres would like to congratulate their excellent, not-a-reach-at-all Third round pick, Igor Shvyrov, on his first KHL goal, coming in on his first shot. He's a playmaker, but nice to know he can put the puck in the net as well. Though we are disappointed with his playing time (scratched in his second game this season, after scoring a goal in his first, and averaging only 2:42 TOI/GP this season in the KHL) We are confident he will make an impact in the KHL this year, and hopefully be under consideration for Russia's World Junior Team.

You can find a Streamable of the goal here: https://streamable.com/vxpmd

(I reach for a guy, and now I'm desperate for him to succeed IRL, and follow all his KHL games. This league does weird things to you, man)

Just got home from a trip to Alberta. Absolutely gorgeous province to visit. Must visit in my opinion. Went to the most beautiful cities in Jasper and Banff. In Jasper, we went to visit the center they had and visited a couple other tourist hotspots in like water falls, lakes, rivers but I enjoyed Banff the most. My brother and I went on the gondola and saw the beautiful Glacier Mountain. You get a somewhat good work out in also to get to the top where you can see even better shots of the mountains. Went to Glacier Falls after as well and it was gorgeous and the best of the best Lake Louise. Visited the downtown of Banff. And SO MUCH MORE! It's a place I recommend for everyone to visit.

On a hockey note, congrats to Kings prospects Foo and Ruzicka for notching a pair of goals and a goal respectively even though it's just a young stars tourney! We hope they can provide a impact for our team in the near future

Nice to see that Crama finally signed a PTO with a NHL Team IRL.

Hope both , Crama and Cody Franson , will earn a Spot .....

Further the Habs are curious to see what the Euro signings Kempe and Sandberg can bring up to the Team.

Fantenberg and Soucy could be also surprises ......

Some exciting weeks are coming up soon  ...... :)

WEAK on D but I recently had Forbort, Lindell, Zadorov and Zaitsev all graduate so that is a good issue to have. Up front recent graduates Perlini, Kero, Hyman and Leivo should start no question with their respective clubs.

Please critique :)

Quiet last little bit. Still something missing in Dallas. Forward depth. Still looking, haven't made a great effort at shopping. Have some picks to shop. Have some cap to spend. Have some players to trade :P, I know lots of people are waiting to see how camp and start of season start out to be but if anyone is still willing to move a piece or two, don't be shy!

  @Captain Azzy

checked some player positions on fantrax

kyle platzer is listed as pure center at fantrax but according elite prospect he can play RW and C

Steven Lorentz and Radel Fazleyev ( misspelled  on Fantrax Fazleev) are also listed as pure centers but both can also play LW.

not sure if this can be changed ... but it would give me some more flexibility on the wing positions

Finally updated my Roster .

The Habs named Jonathan Toews their  Team Captain , Ryan O´Reilly and Jason Demers will wear the A for the 2017/18 Season.

Not a Great Team but solid i guess.  it will be tough to compete for a Playoff Spot though.

The Team has to stay healthy . Further there are still a lot of unaswered questions on the Roster. Specially at the Defence and Goaltending Sections .

I hope that some Prospects will see some Icetime in the NHL or maybe becoming Fulltime NHL érs this Season.

Garret Ross , Matt Finn and Daniel Altshuller havent signed a Contract IRL untill now  ...maybe this questions will be also answered in the upcoming weeks.

The Habs are not making any moves untill we know how our Opening Night Roster looks like.

If we feel that its necessary to make Deals to solify any positions,  Backup Goalie  for an example , we´ll let it the league know.

For now we wish all GM´s and their Teams , an exciting Training Camp and Pre-Season :)

Did fantrax pull numbers out of a hat when doing their projections?

They have Greg McKegg leading the league in +/-, while Nate Schmidt has -56! No one has cracked -40 in years...

Speaking of odd projections, they have Zacha set to play 100+ games.

He'll have quite a busy season. Getting traded 20 times in an attempt to gain games.
