Yes and if everyone has a vote locked in, then the round may end early. Sometimes we extend the first round to be sure of who we are voting for.

It's good to extend the round in Rd 1 because you can make sure you are making the right decisions for the votes. I will unvote Extend if we have found someone that is very likely to be Mafia though.

IMO This vote to extend is a waste of time and allows for more lengthy silences in a game. It has never really offered anything of value.
