  • Both their Vice Presidents and successors were Southern Democrats named Johnson (Andrew Johnson and Lyndon B. Johnson) who were born in '08.
  • Both presidents were concerned with issues affecting African Americans and made their views strongly known in '63. Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1862, which took effect in 1863. In 1963, Kennedy presented his reports to Congress on issues related to the Civil Rights Movement, and in June of that year delivered his Civil Rights Address on radio and television in which he proposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

  • Both presidents were accompanied by another couple.
  • The male companion of the other couple was wounded by the assassin.
  • Both presidents fathered four children, and had a son die during his presidency.
  • Both presidents had only one child survive into the next century. That child served another president by political appointment.
  • Both presidents' wives died in their sixties after an untimely decline in health, during the administration of a president who had seen their husbands in Washington, D.C. the same year as the assassination (Mary Todd Lincoln died during the presidency of Chester A. Arthur. Arthur had attended President Lincoln's 1865 inauguration. Jacqueline Kennedy died during the presidency of Bill Clinton. Clinton met President Kennedy in 1963 during a Boys State summer program).

This is just a distraction for the fact that the FBI's report on crime (released last week) included 70% fewer data tables than the year previous.

JFK docs are an attempt at trying to seem more transparent than previous administrations while simultaneously hiding information that actually affects Americans currently.

The deadline was set 25 years ago.

The release was scheduled for this year long ago.

I'll bet the FBI isn't the only entity who snuck something by knowing it was coming up.  I'll bet other government agencies and even regular companies and corporations did shady stuff and released bad news as well in the hopes that the JFK and Trump/Russia issues us would dominate the news cycle.

Only 2 presidents to try to take the issuance of the US currency out of the hands of the Rothschild  controlled central bank.

Forget any conspiracy theory...if you want to know why Kennedy was shot...research executive order 11110.

One of LBJs first acts as president was to reverse...

Lincoln tried to issue US controlled  "Greenbacks".....the criminal banksters would have none of it.

You said the release was "just a distraction".  I'm saying it is what it always has been for the last quarter century.

If anything it's being used by the FBI and others to bury any potential story on them.

Go back to the recent hurricanes and you'll find that companies used those to bury their bad news.  It's a tactic used that's as old as PR.

Ahhh, gotcha. I didn't read where it said it had to be released by "this thursday", I thought that they could have released it at any point in 2017 and chose this specific week to do so, my bad.

Hate to burst your bubble but JFK tried to strengthen the federal reserve, not weaken it....

Perhaps the wildest accusation against the Fed is that it was involved in Kennedy's assassination. This idea was promoted by a 1989 book Crossfire: The Conspiracy That Killed Kennedy, by a writer named Jim Marrs, who also has written about conspiracies involving Freemasons, psychics and extraterrestrials. Crossfire was an influence on Oliver Stone's film JFK.

The alleged Fed conspiracy has to do with Executive Order 11,110, which was signed by Kennedy on June 4, 1963. It delegates to the Treasury secretary the president's authority to issue silver certificates, paper dollars that were redeemable in silver coins or bullion. Marrs presented this as an effort by Kennedy to replace Federal Reserve notes with silver certificates, thus transferring power from the Fed to the Treasury -- and providing a possible motive for the president's assassination less than half a year later.

However, the executive order was just a technicality. It did not expand the issuance of silver certificates -- which actually were being phased out, since rising silver prices had raised concerns that redemptions would drain the Treasury's silver supply. Indeed, Kennedy also signed a bill giving the Fed authority to issue small-denomination notes to replace the silver certificates, something hard to explain if he were trying to reduce the Fed's involvement with the money supply.

Someone tell Oliver Stone.

As for the Lincoln greenbacks, I addressed that earlier in the thread.  That had little to do with 1860's U.S. bankers.

There's no statute of limitations on murder.

Bottom line if the one of the most powerful individuals can get bumped off, who's really safe?

Worse yet, if a person tries to make positive changes and gets whacked because of it, who's really in charge?
