Why are we panicking over a stupid "rumour" that Kypreos made up? And that one guy on here that said is Friedman is probably lying to create more panic then there actually should be. Kypreos is bottom of the barrel when talking about rumours.

Comets don’t play again until Saturday.  With the club back east, it’s a good idea to give Thatcher some time with the big club for a couple days.  Love to see him actually play though, but seriously doubt it.

What's with that by the way.. 3 games in 3 weeks is completely ridiculous

Lol at the people saying we trade oj for duchene.  We need MORE d prospects, not less

We have nothing to worry about, OJ is going nowhere fast.  His stock had plummetted in the hockey world....just reading the recent THN top under 21ers and he's dropped fifty spots from last year to 86 ( two spots away from Dahlen)....a dozen guys picked after him in 2016 are ahead of him now and Colorado  will do their homework before moving Duchene.

We have Biega here but Weircioch is good insurance. Exciting to see Demko getting some NHL experience even though he isn't playing. He will certainly take some notes on how he can take his game to the next level. Hope Stecher is okay also! Heard it was a knee on knee hit so hopefully he recovers asap from it

Buffalo is still desperate to find a top 4 D

Rumors have been swirling around Reinhart.

Edler? Hutton? ... Tanev?????

I'd be very wary about moving Tanev but Edler would easily slide into their top 3. Even Hutton....

Guddy in a heartbeat.

Only if they know he's not willing to re-sign here long term.

He's showing his value this season as a steady shutdown guy that can protect our goalie and drop the mitts. This team has needed what he brings to the table for awhile. Especially if we keep putting players like Tanev, Stecher, and Hutton in the lineup, who have almost no pushback.

when can Guddy actually sign an extension? do we have to wait until the free agency window opens?

Interesting notion.

Do you think Juolevi is comparable to OEL?

Juolevi won't be a flashy player or put up the points that OEL does, he projects to be a steady two-way guy that probably has the ceiling of a number 2.

There's absolutely no way they give up on one of our only legit D prospects for an almost 27 year old center though. It makes absolutely no sense at this stage, unless ownership is calling for playoffs at all cost.

We don't need a C with Gaunce coming back. I like Duchene, but not at Sakics ransom.

Thanks for your thoughts DeNiro.

Thanks for posting that.

In terms of the rumors, don't like any of them. Duchene is talented but (in terms of "winning" qualities) not worth two pieces let alone three pieces. Same with respect to Kane.

Which is your favorite of these 3

Duchene, Sam Rheinhart or E Kane?

Let's say all cost the same hypothetically

I'm assuming you meant Reinhart.

I'd take Reinhart because of his age, his production on a weak team so far, and the fact he's a Vancouver boy.

Duchene isn't the right age to fit our plan, and Kane would cost too much considering we could sign him for free next summer. We also need a center at this point, not more wingers.

Gagner keeps us at the bottom feeder level.  Kane makes us bottom five to ten.  Duchene gets us to bottom 10 to 15.  Considering we are rebuilding, and need to draft more elite talent, I’d say Gagner is my choice.
