He was just unfortunate that Buffalo got a better centre the very next year in Eichel. He’s now being buried in depth and his play is struggling. Megna is rightfully pretty damn far down the depth chart this year with our added depth that Heffy's level of worrying about him playing for the Canucks has gone all the way past funny to ...'you may have an unwarranted obsession issue' level dude. And yeah, we have Pouliot, Wiercioch, Holm, McEneny etc as left side depth. Why would we want a slow, expensive, old D who's basically a 'bad Edler' on his good days? Once Edler and Eriksson are back, we'd be over and corned into trading someone at below market value just to get cap compliant. I wouldn't touch Garrison with a 10 foot pole.
