I did, it made sense for a lot of reasons. Loui also gets zero credit for his defensive play which is too bad. Whenever his solid play away from the puck comes up people say 'yah but that contract...' but so what? he's still good in that role regardless of the salary and should be credited for that. The way this team is built I don't know that we're going to see him improve a lot on goals, imo he needs to be with Bo and Boeser but thats probably not going to happen. Playing with Sutter and Granny is a good idea but isn't going to generate a ton of chances either. 

 

There's a bit of similarity to Luca going on here. Sbisa was dumped on even last year for being a so-called 'giveaway machine' which was total crap when you looked at his actual stats but people kept saying it. Same thing with a lot of Loui's play, a lot of people seem to have the hate goggles on no matter what.
