This is very interesting and seems to coincide with all the purges, The most interesting part is the way women are being portrayed in the promo video. This could just be a way to attract foreign interest, or it could signal genuine change.

Recent failures in regards to public health, as well as handling of natural disaster. were mostly caused by corruption.

Hundreds of Saudis lost their lives because of it.

Also there is a consolidation of power, tying this to Clintons is laughable.

The only implication is that the arrested businessman had been a donor to Hilary's campaign. That is a salient point.

It does not have to be a major factor.  Money with its own interests backs all political parties, and their decisions. Bush and his cronies made billions in the middle east after invading Iraq. No doubt there is ocean liners full of bad money behind Trump.

But because Hillary has a direct connect, it will, of course, be leveraged for impact by the Trump camp. Just like there is investigation into how the Russians managed to sideswipe the election in Trumps favor?

The reality is the Middle East & its money have untold power. And their own agenda.  It is a slippery slope in regards to how you position yourself. Regardless of which side of American politics you are on.  In most cases leaders will scurry to whomever will be in power in the Middle East. Befriend them to best serve the profits of American companies, American military interests.

Place, embed deeper may be a better description, in power those you have alliances with if you have the chance?  Is that the implication, any Trump involvement @Harvey Spector

Sounds, from your articles, his son in law may have visited & provided some of the critical intel on the parties arrested.

(I could be reading this completely wrong?)

Nothing says cracking down on government waste and corruption like dropping a half-billion dollars on a Da Vinci painting.

The WSJ reports, citing a U.S. government intelligence and a Saudi art-world figure familiar with the purchase, that Saudi crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman was the purchaser.

"The image of the crown prince spending that much money to buy a painting when he's supposed to be leading an anticorruption drive is staggering," said Bruce Riedel, a former CIA officer and leading expert on Saudi politics.

I'm sure all the princes being held at the Ritz Carlton in Riyadh are cool with this.
