A witness told KCRA Action News Now that the shooter stole his truck and then shot and killed his roommate

"He's dead. He didn't make it," Brian Flint told Action News Now. "For his family and everything, I feel bad, and we'll be there for them."

Original post: Three people were killed, including the shooter, at a Northern California school early in the school day Tuesday.

Witnesses say that the gunman shot through classroom windows at Rancho Tehama Elementary School injuring a young boy who was struck in "the foot and chest," according to KRCR.

It is unclear whether the shooter entered the school.

Parent Coy Ferreira told the radio outlet that he was dropping off his daughter at the school Tuesday morning when the shots rang out. Ferreira said he ran into a classroom when he heard shots coming through the classroom windows.

Four people were transported to the hospital including three children and one adult. Officials have yet to confirm the conditions of the victims.

WDSU reported that a 6-year-old and one other child were injured in the fusillade, which witnesses said was close to 100 rounds.

"I know that we have (airlifted) a number of students," Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston said in a news conference. "I know that the school's been cleared. I know that we have children that were attending school in a safe location at this time.

Horrible as always but sadly it's the gun violence du jour in America. Hell, I'll even guess the majority of reactions on CDC:

Horror.

Thoughts and prayers.

We need gun control.

It was a false-flag so they could take away our guns.

It's not a good time to talk about gun control.

Ordinarily I stay out of these threads, or celebrity death threads. But jeez!

So, I own one gun. One. For hunting and that’s it. In my 20s, before having a kid, I’d likely be one of those people that would say, “I’m growing numb to this,” or “Yet another shooting in ‘merica.” But halfway through my 30s and a kid, when is enough, enough?

I 100% understand the 2nd amendment. But at what point do they say, “This needs to be changed, now!” There are background checks, already. But clearly what’s going on in the States goes beyond better background checks. A government is in place to protect society from themselves, as well. People don’t know better. Common sense doesn’t exist, which is precisely why we have governments.

When the 2nd Amendment was created, they were still using muskets and living on expansive farms, when real protection was necessary. It wasn't the intention of America's forefathers to ensure every home had an automatic weapon in case someone tried to break in. Do like Canadians, lock your door and get an alarm system or even a dog. No problem here.

I wonder what Trump will do to help America's citizens from this type of violence, other than call the shooter a deranged loser.

and look into his past and see his family immigrated to the usa 2 generations ago

so that must have been a factor too

but let's not talk about guns.. it's really only about the person using the guns

but is it a semi automatic

that you can convert to being automatic with an attachment?

cuz that is really what the 2nd amendment is intending to protect

the victims deserve our sympathy

particularly because they are children

but i am no longer sympathetic to the usa dilemna

it is self created

i prefer to be a cynic from now on regarding these issues and events

until something seriously is done to address the issue

how come planes are no longer flying into buildings?

because security was increased to ensure that cannot happen

let them address these shooting issues with a similar degree of interest
