The point is burrows outside of the Canucks fan base was known for being one of the dirtiest players in the NHl for a period of time. He was a huge part of us becoming the most hated team in the league. He had an extremely pour reputation around the league in his prime days but we as fans loved seening him walk that line. We hated when he crossed it. Like what he did to staal or his comments to O’sullivan but he was very effective at his job at getting under the othe teams skin and at the same time hurting them on the scoreboard. Tkachuk is that type of player as well. He did cross the line with this spear and he will need to learn from it. But flames don’t want him to change the way he plays. The thread is about the player in Calgary who has no respect for the game. If you want to discuss Burrows, good for you but perhaps quote someone who is also taking about him.
