A nasty edge, who can fight too. Loved Bieksa. We need some young meanness on our back end too. I still like Brady Tkatchuck for our forward group. Yes, we want as much skill as possible, but we need to balance that with guys who are really hard to play against.

I see he is viewed at between 3 and 6 in the draft, so there is every possibility he might fall to us. However it would mean probably turning our back on the D everyone is so convinced we need. As far as I'm concerned Tkachuk is just who we would need on a line with Pettersson to make sure no one takes liberties. I say we snap him up. He could probably kick his brother's ass too .(although brothers don't as a rule fight each other in the NHL) By the way maybe we can have Elias Peterson join Elias Pettersson in a couple of years. http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=350848 or http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=473866 or http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=568089

No that's what I call our elite players getting shut down in that series. They were intimidated into nothingness.

They were just 2 pieces to the puzzle not all 23+... Actually you are kind of right. I don't think it was any fault of the Sedins as they were given the leadership as Hank was given the "C". The team might have been different if Bieksa or Kessler was the Captain. I actually think that there is a place for non-aggressive players such as the Sedins but I don't leadership is part of that. This team is already looking different with the emergence of Bo. Love the Sedins but the era of this type of leadership has to end.
