CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Was just watching fights because I was bored...Jordie Benn paying some homage to the late Rick Rypien (mentioned in the first video starts at 0:24) Second video you can see how he used Rypien's arm blocking technique. Missing Ryp's tenacity, Part of me thinks having Rypien and Dorsett play together would've been one hell of a fourth line, take no prisoners mentality. Herpaderp
Imagine if we still had Rick now, especially when the team right now lacks heart. He'd be running down ripping apart so many people. RIP

Jägermeister
Ryp was about as technically sound fighter there has been in the NHL. What other guy his size could have done something like this:

N7Nucks
Rypien will forever be the best fighter in my mind. But, he wasn’t just a fighter. He could play and be effective. He is the embodiment of what a tough guy should be, heart, soul, tough as nails. Rypien is one of my top 5 fav players of all time. Rest in peace Ryp. Forever a Canuck.
