And Laetner over Shaq? lol Some people think that Laettner was selected as a nod to college basketball and as an incentive to get Krzyzewski to be an assistant coach (has to be one of the toughest last names to spell). Shaq said in interviews that he was jealous and pissed with the decision. I don't think Hakeem was a US citizen, but if they selected Hakeem and Thomas on that team..wow.
