I wonder what the mindset is of players from these countries that come in to play against Canada. I'd think it would be quite depressing to lose so badly time and time again. Especially countries like Denmark. Is it more that they are playing as individuals to get noticed and get a contract to play in the NHL, or even the KHL? Is that when they say to themselves "damn I wish I'd chosen soccer", I guess the Canadian soccer team might feel the same playing a game against Slovakia. I thought the coach made a mistake not having Gadj on the 2nd unit to start the tourney. Hopefully he gets an increased roll next game and runs with it! The reason Fabbro didn't play in the third period was because of precautionary reasons (fatigue), and Bean is fine too after going hard into the boards.
