Nuxfanabroad
Grab Prout. Then trading Gud is fine.

We shouldn't allott so much cap to muscle, Prout would be okay.
garthsbutcher
Id Grab Prout for sure if you are entertaining moving Guddy .
-AJ-
Pass on both. Prout is just a bad Dorsett who doesn't have as much offense or defense.
hammertime
Grab Prout just so I can watch him KO Lucic in a nux uniform. Then waive him as I will be satisfied.
Nuxfanabroad
Late season with Arch & Prout..at least the team would have some backbone. Would also assist stealth-rebuild!
garthsbutcher
Trade Edler, keep Guddy and pick up Prout and teams will think twice about running the crease.

hammertime
On a more serious note I'd take Rasmussen over Reid Boucher.

Prout is a depth defenseman - a 6/7 type - you've chosen an odd comparable in Dorsett. He's been on a few consecutive teams with good, deep bluelines - so not much surprise he's been on the edge of the CBJ and NJ rosters. In 4 games this year had 36% offensive zone starts and 51% corsi. Not bad in a tiny sample. Won't be surprised if a team needing some toughness picks him up - he's a legit heavyweight. Doubt that will be Van, but....
Rabbit
Agreed, compared Prout to Dorsett is not appropriate. I am okay to pick him if Elder will be traded soon.
RRypien37
For the love of god pick up Prout.
D-Money
Prout ain't bad. If we weren't already loaded with depth defenders, I'd take him.
Baer.
Prout hasn't played in months... Wonder if he's even in game form. I'd take a flyer on Rasmussen now that Burmi is gone. Would be an upgrade over Dowd or Chaput.

Those are some pretty good defensive numbers too.
Ossi Vaananen
Could legit see us taking a chance at both. With the way Guddy plays defence, switching him with Prout would be a push. Plus we'd save a tonne of cap.
WHL rocks
I would take Rasmussen. He's a C, can never have enough depth C. He can play on the 4th line for us. I can see JB picking him up.

Maybe they want to clear him to package him with another piece for Gudbranson. :D
