kloubek Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 We really don't need Puljujarvi and certainly not at the cost of Tanev. Our 1st line RW is clearly going to be Boeser, so that would put JP as our 2nd line RW - but it is likely that one of Goldobin or Lind, and to a lesser degree Virtanen, Lockwood or Palmu will be capable of filling that role in a year or two, or even Eriksson if he can ever find his game properly again. Our current defense is inadequate, and Tanev is one of the few shining lights on the blueline. If we lose him, then not only will our defense be unable to properly score but they will also be unable to properly defend. It already isn't exactly a super strong suit of our team as it is.
