taskicon
With Brock’s new confidence from his great performance at the All-Star Game will he go on a tear and catch up to Barzal in points? I didn’t see any GDT so I slapped this together at work I will update it.

ReggieBush
9-0 win. Allstar MVP Brock Boeser scores all 9 to set an NHL record and pass Matt Barzal in the Rookie scoring race
-Vintage Canuck-
Thanks for starting one. It's good to have Canucks hockey back after the All-Star break. I have watched some Avalanche games and they are a really fast team. It's going to be interesting how our defencemen adjust to their speed or else we will be exposed. Also, I do wonder if Gudbranson returns to the lineup tonight. Yesterday, he mentioned he was ready to play today, but Canucks medical staff still have to clear him. If he returns, we will finally have a fully healthy lineup.

PhillipBlunt
Gudbranson was skating with a conditioning coach yesterday and then attended a full practice. I think he's good to go.

I don't give a hoot about the game or skills comp, but found myself in front of the TV and flipped it on anyways. Was seriously stoked for Brock to have a good show on a big-ish stage. That kid has maxed out chill poise.

That's one confident kid.

It's more unfortunate that this team can't stay healthy on a consistent basis. We were a solid team at the start of the season with Dorsett in the lineup. I guess it's just part of the game, but we do have some bad luck compared to most teams.

Potato potatoh, that was definitely the point of my comment At some point you wonder if it goes beyond bad luck, but I don't know where to begin in assessing how to change it without altering the way our players like Tanev play the game while remaining effective and un-injured.
