When will that be though?  I don't know, whos going to buy it and for what price?  Would it just be more beneficial to keep it running as a Canada revenue stream instead of selling it off?

Oh well, what can you do?  4.5 bill to buy it isn't a drop in the bucket, thats a lot of bridges, roads, etc. that aren't going to be built, fires that wont get federal funding to put them out, etc.  Thats a hard pill to swallow as a tax payer, especially when you see 750 mill going over seas to India in "investments" or millions and millions going to various countries.  How long can we constantly put up with so many tax dollars going overseas and being spent stupidly before our economy collapses because of the crippling debt.

Oh well I guess the "buget will just balance themselves"

Well thats what liberal voters in 2015 seem to believe.

But a good day for our future infrastructure, economy, and standard of living.  I think there is a trade off King.  We live comfortable, but very sheltered lives.  Maybe we want our kids to have the same ease of living we do?

This pipeline will have absolutely zero positive  impact on BC citizens standard of living.

In fact, it will have a  serious negative  impact as now our province is on the hook for the eventual oil spill and the following  destruction of our tourism industry.

Terrible deal for BC.     Sad day for our province.

PS - guess the rich of Abbotsford will benefit as Kinder bought the super expensive Ledgeview Golf and Country club a  new 1 million dollar members clubhouse to get the city on board....   Not sure how that help students, poor and working class of Abbotsford though......  Typical.  If it wasn't so sad ... it would be funny....

Why don’t you tell us all how you have been negativity impacted from the existing pipeline?

At least there is some hope with younger citizens..

Young people don't want to work for oil companies

nside the U.S. solar jobs boom

The bright minds of tomorrow want to pursue careers at Tesla, not ExxonMobil.

Sixty-two percent of teens ages 16 to 19 say a career in oil and gas is unappealing, according to a survey of 1,200 young Americans that was released this week by EY. That includes 39% who say the industry is very unappealing.

Not surprisingly, young people want to work for the energy companies of the future. Two-thirds of those polled said that a job working in green energy sounds appealing. That's good news for the likes of Tesla (TSLA), which is the leading electric-car maker and also sells solar panelsthrough its recently-acquired SolarCity business.

me personally I do not want the pipeline and now everything is still the same cept our government now wasted 4.5 billion that could have been spent better

The natives that own the land on the water WILL never EVER say yes, so still back to square one to start over

to me make the pipeline straight to the US from Alberta as that is where it is all going, leave BC alone
