Alberta is the strongest economy and richest province in Canada and Alberta has more investment than any other province. Btw the guy you're talking to lives in BC. I thought you had residences in both provinces... Alberta blew most of their heritage fund. Disgraceful what happened to future generations of Albertans that could have benefited with interest earned.... but sadly now the money is gone. Don't blame BC for poor financial management in Alberta..... Once the Alberta oil is all gone... that Legacy fund would have been very useful to keep the province moving forward. Its a real shame how Alberta managed their oil revenues...... Very sad. Norway has over a trillion in their fund. Albeta and Albertans sound like a bunch of whiners....... You mismanage your province resources / investments / oil revenues.... and now you try to blame BC for your own ineptness. Too funny. KOS i'm on the fence on this one, while I do consider myself pro industry ,the lack of answers to all the potential disaster is what myself and a lot of other british columbians are being mis understood ,and probably thought of as being out right anti pipeline , going at one another ,bc this alberta that isnt going to work as the issue isnt going away. im open minded and willing to listen and remain hopefull that these corporations ,levels of gov , can be truthful and transparent, endbridge did a disservice to the trust factor, ,KM didnt help with the down play and exag gerations either . calmer heads have to prevail. Trudeau bought the pipeline he wants it. 3) Squandered?? I think you mean used money to build many nice highways, hospitals, schools, generously pay doctors, teachers and nurses. You see everything is second rate in B.C if it wasn't for natural beauty no one would be there. The #1 economy in BC is taxing their citizens to death, meanwhile the healthcare there sucks and teachers and doctors make peanuts. ? huh

No one is blaming BC. You keep missing the point, Alberta and Canada are getting such low value because of pipeline capacity issues. An increased pipeline to tide water is a great idea. Considering all your socialist views you should support this. Wouldn't you rather 100 billion stay in Canada instead of being forfeited to your boy Trump? They'd rather p&^% away 100 billion than admit the failing coastal environment is on them. Instead they want to blame it on the far away tar sand bogeyman that Americans told them about. This is why the salmon are disappearing. They just want to keep killing things and whining about how there isn't enough things to kill anymore. BC needs to give up stewardship of the coast. Maybe Alberta should come and take it over for them. Edited December 18, 2018 by Dash Riprock

Funny thing is Oceans in Canada are federal jurisdiction. The "BC coast" doesn't even belong to BC. If we are conquering BC territory I'll take a path to the Ocean, the Okanagan and the west Kootenays. You get the rest.

The oil greedy beggars ruined the natural beauty. Now there are oil donkeys in every pasture. It’s a friggin’ joke. The oil industry owns that province, and now they are busting out. It’s too sad. House prices are in the toilet.
