Some quotes from the article: B.C.’s public safety minister says he has serious concerns about a new motorcycle club of Lower Mainland firefighters called Florian’s Knights that has been attending events with the Hells Angels Elmes, who said he is a founding member of the Knights, said in an interview Monday that the club formed to raise money for charity and that no one should be concerned. Another social media comment obtained by Postmedia has a member of the HA-aligned Devil’s Army biker club in Campbell River thanking the Florian’s Knights for their recent hospitality. Elmes said if the public has any concerns about his group “it is because the media and the cops are putting absolute lies in people’s heads.” “I don’t think there should be a concern. Everyone is just riding, doing their thing. This isn’t Sons of Anarchy, where guys wearing their vests are committing crimes and murdering people,” he said of the TV show about a fictitious biker gang in California. “This is just guys on their bikes riding at charitable events.” __________________________________________________________________________________ Except that, you know, the show was based on HA and relied on an HA member as a consultant. So you have to look at who are the real criminals here.These are the people we elect to help the common man.but there is no profits in that for the parties or their own coffers I guess. RCMP WILL TELL STORIES (OK LIES) TO JUSTIFY THEIR JOBS. Like the DRUG WAR, trillions spent in North America and it hasn't made too much difference. but they sure don't go after BIG PHARMA.Who have given us this huge mess with opiates.WE CAN SEE WHO THE REAL CRIMINALS ARE. I don't want those public employees believing in an after life as it could lead to them taking bigger risks and perhaps dying in the line of duty. The insurance payments and WCB investigations/fines will cost too much money. I also think firefighters should not be allowed to join the: Masons Moose Elk Cub Scouts Road cycling clubs Archery Clubs and many others. Down by the River Posted June 5, 2018 Author Share Posted June 5, 2018 I remember throwing a house party when I was a teenager. Some guys showed up that were like 21-22 years old. We didn't let them in. They then said that they were firefighters and would let my (my parents') house burn down if there was ever a fire. Kind of gets at the idea that some people become firefighters because it sounds exciting, not because they want to help people. What people do in their off-time should be nobody else's business, except for when decisions made in their off-time implicate their ability to appropriately do their own job.
