Although, the new 125GP rule will help curb that a bit. I still see this happening. I have to scrape the free agency barrel because there aren't enough players for me to fill my roster with while other people rotate 4 guys in their 20s in the minors. Anybody over the age of 23 should require waivers in their 2nd pro year. The fact that Zach Sanford still doesn't need waivers is a little funny to me.

But going too far down that road is a slippery slope. RL teams suddenly surge or go off a cliff, and players get traded. But contracts are often lasting. 2) I like that idea a lot. I think overalll, the guys in DET, OTT, EDM.. etc (perennial bad teams) would get better deals. The goal is to give value to non playoff players. Art Vandelay
Noooooo! Finally, after I think 12-15 months of being discontinued, the old Fantrax app has stopped working... was anyone else still using that?

I don't know if you have android or iPhone, but I know with iPhone you can go to the league homepage and create a link for your home screen. It functions essentially the same as an app. It's the newer version, but it's still better than navigating their website on mobile. 1
Salter
Art's comments about Detroit being a perennial bad team makes me angry Detroit is looking to add top forwards. I don't care if they are on a playoff team or not @Art Vandelay @Art Vandelay @Art Vandelay , as long as they aren't older than 30, and are scoring at least 4fpts per game. hit me up. I'm at home alone and bored today and want to make a trade.

But until they turnover 75% of the roster, the s*** will just keep stinking the same.
inane
Florida at the about the 2/3rds mark of the season! Sitting in 3rd overall, we are no illusions of doing well this off-season. As such, we continue to look to move some of our playoff players. But, this is a blip, we expect to be back in the cup hunt next year. Top producers Jordan Binnington--8.08 ffpg. Can not possibly continue at this pace but wow! What a start to his career. Sean Monahan--5.75 fppg. Doing great since swapped for Backstrom--he's younger and we're happy to have him long term. TJ Oshie--5.07 fppg. Currently on the block, we are looking to move him out, but, he's a great player on a cup contender so...he's gonna be pricey. Philipp Grubauer--4.77 fppg. Will hopefully get the full time job in Colorado soon. Zach Aston-Reese--4.49 fppg. He's hurt, but we love his all category style of play. Blake Coleman--4.35 fppg. Same thing, not a sniper, but gets fantasy points. Esa Lindell--4.16 fppg. Our top Dman, will be a mainstay on the blue line. On the farm AHL--4 players in the top 20 in scoring! Jeremy Bracco 5th in league scoring. Tanner Kero 14th in league scoring. Drake Batherson 15th in league scoring. CJ Smith 20th in league scoring. Juniors Stelio Mattheos -- 7th in the WHL. HIT ME UP for any trade inquiries, there's nothing too crazy to hear.

Popular Post JimLahey
Hola vultures! Thanks for having me in the league. Team report to follow soon once I review some previous trades and my roster. At a glance, superstar Mark Borowiecki is my leading player in f/points per game so that is promising and a good indication of the offensive firepower we have throughout the lineup. Feel free to reach out to me with anyone you are interested... there isnt a lot there so I'm open to anything. Only players I will be very hesitant to move are Girard and Chychrun. The pick + Copp + Harkins was given to me for Marleau + Olofsson. Then the pick was traded in a really big deal that was essentially Jost for that pick + Tatar. Master Mind
This is the trade I see, with no mention of protection Quote To VGK: Patrick Marleau, Gustav Olofsson To OTT: 2019 VGK 1st, Andrew Copp, Jansen Harkins

Popular Post JimLahey
Vegas Golden Knights Firstly, thanks to @Master Mind for the hire and the challenge. I inherited a really well-built team in the CDCFL earlier in the year and felt a team at the opposite end of the spectrum would be a fun challenge. What we have is a poorly constructed roster - one second line forward, numerous bottom six forwards, a ton of defensemen for some reason, and the best looking goalie around in Henrik Lundqvist. If we had to ice a roster tomorrow, I would likely insert myself and a few guys from my men's league teams on PTO's to ice a regulation squad. The Vegas Golden Knights organization are going to accept a few years of rebuilding and being a bottom feeder to grow the right way. We will look to take on a bad contract or two, retain salary & avoid over-paying for free agents to come to Vegas while we are in a rebuild. What is our goal for the remainder of the season & off season? Ice an NHL roster. Even though we will be a bottom team in the league, we owe it to ourselves to ice a team of players who are actually in the NHL. Look to add a high pick as ours is with a GM somewhere in the middle of Manitoba who likely will not give it back for anything less than my soul. Be open to be a salary dump around the deadline in exchange for a future asset. Draft well and sign prospects who have high end skill. Be patient for once. Teams are encouraged to reach out. We are open to literally anything - only players we are hesitant to move are Samuel Girard, Jakob Chychrun, Eeli Tolvanen Current "NHL" Roster Darren Helm - Derek Stepan - Sammy Blais Ryan Spooner - Markus Granlund - Darren Archibald Eeli Tolvanen - Luke Glendenning - Kiefer Sherwood Curtis McKenzie - Tanner Fritz - Dylan Sikura Jakob Chychrun - Mark Borowiecki Dion Phaneuf - Trevor van Riemsdyk Joe Morrow - Derrick Pouliot Bogdan Kiselvich, Andrew McDonald Henrik Lundqvist - Scott Darling Edited February 11, 2019 by JimLahey 1 2
