This sounds just like all the other hip hop songs out now that I hate. It's a particular beat/cadence that just grates me.

Funky song that reminds me of Beck. The prominent horn annoyed me.

Chevelle - "Forfeit" 3/5
I like Chevelle but this song is just "meh". Sounds like all their other stuff. Not distinct or special.

Kendrick Lamar - "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst" 4/5
I'm not a big hip hop fan at all, but I loved this song. Great beat and lyrics.

Massive Attack - "Dissolved Girl" 3.75/5
This song was dark and moody but catchy at the same time. I can dig it.


Nine Inch Nails - "Piggy" 3/5
This one was just ok. I am a casual NIN fan, and like their songs that rock a bit harder.

Was on my playlist too. It gets stale over Time and goes out like a light. It still is a good song imo and the amount of flow changes are refreshing.

Kendrick Lamar - ELEMENT.

Solid song. It was my favourite in his newest album. I wasn't really a fan of DNA and this song connected with me the most. He still has better songs and this can only be so good for so long(I've since deleted it off my phone).

I've listened to this song before and tbh not a huge fan. Listened again and it just doesnt really do the job. It's tragic that he passed but tbh I like X's post death songs better. This one is powerful but ultimately I don't jive with it.

The 2nd of the three songs on this playlist I haven't heard. It's solid. Haven't listened to Kid Cudi in so long and Kanyes parts in this song are better imo. Ultimately forgettable but good.

Currently the song that I listen to the most. So good. Such a hit. Sets a good mood. Instrumental on point, bass just right and ASAP does well with it. Not a classic but one of my favourite songs this year.

Calvin Harris - Heatstroke ft. Young Thug, Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams

Ariana Grande is the saver of this song. Harris has made better tracks imo. It sounds so typical of Harris and a little bland. I think Pharell at this point in his career is getting a little repetitive.

Overall great playlist mostly cuz I already listen to most of the songs haha. I'll be giving the Tyler the Creator song another listen and probably eventually add it to my playlist since I really liked that on first listen. I would not jump out of your car. Great playlist.
