The big ugly yellow/orange V was maybe the worst of the worst. That was actually their jersey from '79-mid 80's. I started watching hockey as a kid in 1980 and I actually liked those back then. To a kid's eyes they were unique. Between those jerseys and learning a couple of seasons later that the Canucks were the Sabres' expansion cousins, I became a Canucks fan and adopted them as my second team.
