Nail
The free agent list has now been updated here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ju9rxs_QSN7504ChPECfaHOgWWOdleoX970BQXIf6RA/edit#gid=1952659612 As summer continues to dwindle down and many veterans still on the free agent market, players may start looking at CDCFL's version of a PTO. Some veterans may be willing to sign a 1 year deal at a lower caphit (than what they previously may have asked for) in hopes of getting a bigger contract next summer. However, players will still be looking for the right fits and won't be signing somewhere to be the 16th forward on the depth chart... Please make sure you PM all offers to @Monty and myself. They have also signed the following UFAs: Nick Shore - 1 year, $0.75M Gaetan Haas - 1 year, $1.25M Justin Holl - 2 years, $0.8M per year We're excited to announce these signings. Though Hutton is currently without a contract IRL, we expect him to find a home and look forward to see where it ends up being. As for NIck, Gaetan, and Justin, we're thrilled to bring these three into the organization. We expect all 3 to challenge for spots in training camp this year, and feel that our depth has been deepened tremendously.

Nail
A new thread will be going up today, but a few housekeeping notes that I'll put here as they will probably get lost if I post them in a new thread: The buried contract threshold has been increased accordingly from the NHL CBA, burying a contract will now save you $1.075M on the players caphit as opposed to the $1.05M last season. Minor difference, but trying to mirror the NHL. The waiver priority list has been updated as of today, September 1. It is the reverse standings of last year, and as always once a team claims a player, they are bumped to the bottom of the list. As of today, teams may begin to designate the 3 players they wish to place on ELC slides. This window will be open until October 1, and teams may post their choices in the thread. Choices are not locked in until October 1, and teams can designate 3 players now and change them should they wish. Today is also the first day that teams can begin to negotiate with one pending UFA and one pending RFA. Please submit all offers to @Monty and myself, and although there is 0 rush at all, we will get to them when we can. The buyout window opens up September 14th and closes on September 28th. Reminder that a player must clear the 24 hour waiver period before being bought out. Finally, we're still 30 days away, and there are lots of training camps to happen, but once October 1st rolls around, all waiver eligible players in teams minor league systems will automatically be placed on waivers. To ensure you do not lose anyone, please make sure you have these players on your NHL roster if you wish to keep them. October 1st is also the date in which all teams must be cap and roster compliant, there are currently some teams that do not meet these requirements however like I said earlier, still lots of time to fix that! Bombastik der Teutone
The Blackhawks Training Camp will be pretty exciting . There are some Prospects that could finally crack the NHL Roster . Kyrou , McLeod , Timmins, Peeke ...mabye Dozens . Dozens is still unsigned in Windy City though. Big ??? regarding Vilardi . The Organisation just hopes that he will be 100% Healthy in the Next Months. If some of our Prospects will make the Roster , the Hawks will be forced to make some Moves on the Trade Market. Next Goaltending . Mrazek will be No.1 for 2019/20 ...but with Stalock and Montembeault we have two Goalies who will fight for the Backup Spot. We still consider to move Stalock , mabye for a Goalie Prospect or a Pick since we think that Monty will be definitely a Guy for the Future. Further there will be a rough Competition around the Top 9 Section. Perron , Brown and Svechnikov are set for the Top 6. Strome and Nielsen seems our Top 6 Centers , but both had less than 40 Scorerpoints last Season. That looks a bit odd but Strome could crack 40 or 50 next Season though. Kassian, Frolik , Rodrigues , Comtois , Foegele and may Kyrou /McLeod will compete for the other Spots. With Brouwer , Cogliano and Clutterbuck the Hawks may have the most expensive 4th line at the moment. Brouwer still has no new NHL Contract IRL though. The Hawks Defence looks good though. Klefbom , Stralman, Lindell , Benn , Sekera , Gudas , Connauton and Y. Weber should be a solid Defence if all stay healthy. Cant wait for the Training Camp and the Season as well .....
