Carlson, Kucherov, and now Josi. Great cap management.

Just like last year, that really hurt my first round points for those 3 games.

JimLahey
Made up ground last night on the Isles. Hoping for a few big games tonight... or even Forsberg or Murray fantasy point some time this week.

I’m currently leading my series by 80 points, but there is so much left to go in the first round. That can be erased fairly quickly. Kadri being gone for the reminder of the first round is really going to hurt things for me, even with my lead.

I tend to agree about how fast leads can evaporate...I am not too worried today about the gap in my series...we will make up ground and its only 1/3 through the first round...AND historically the guys who put up big points early have shorter series...generally speaking...on account of winning in fewer games...giving underdogs a shot at a better final 3rd than opening 1/3rd.

Master Mind
Who'd have pegged Orpik for an OT goal? Fleury completely shut the door on @Primal Optimist tonight.

Last night was grim, however tonight my Offense takes on your Defense...and I just don't know if you can shut the door this time. haha 1
Monty
Carolina News: Big year for some of my prospects. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/hockey/news/lightnings-alex-barre-boulet-wins-ahl-rookie-scoring-race/ Congrats to Alex Barre-Boulet on finishing first in the AHL in rookie scoring. Happy to have a Lightning forward for the future. Congrats to Scott Perunovich and the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs on winning their second straight national championship! I did have Mikey Anderson as well, who I’ll miss, but he was part of the package to bring in Brendan Lemieux. Not done with congrats, yet! Congrats to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for carrying a sub-par Sudbury Wolves team to the second round of the playoffs. He recently signed an ATO with Rochester (so not to burn his first year of his contract), and won his first game in the AHL. Posting a .941 sv%. Could be more now that the playoffs are underway in the AHL, but the future is bright in Carolina.

Squeak
With my exit from the playoffs likely on the horizon. We are looking to make some big moves and willing to discuss pretty much anyone to change the direction of the team - if there are any players that you are interested in, now is the time to get those talks going. You could take the lead tonight with an Andersen win, and Marner and Rielly playing great as they usually do. However, if 15 points is insurmountable, which it may be, can I finally be comfortable with my 84 point lead?

I'm not optimistic about the long term run - if I can recover from that deficit, I don't think I will make a serious run in round 2 or

I know if I win my round, and you win yours, I’d be against the Islanders in the second round (f*ck!!!). You’d be against who, Toronto? Guess that series would come down to if Boston made it through IRL, or Toronto, huh.

Monty
So, a Kadri suspension and probably a Thornton suspension. Just great.
