What a great game by the Oilers and Flames on Saturday night.  First time in a long time I've seen an actual real game of physical hockey played. Props to both teams. It was....dare I say it....actually an entertaining NHL event...

A lot of injuries:

Vincent Trocheck will undergo major surgery to repair damage in his right leg and is out indefinitely.

Patrice Bergeron will miss at least 4 weeks with a rib and sternoclavicular injury, at which point he will be re-evaluated.

Brooks Orpik will miss 4-6 weeks following outpatient arthroscopic knee surgery.

Noah Juulsen is out indefinitely with a facial fracture after taking a puck to the face last night.

Mike Hoffman has extended his franchise-record points streak to 16 games.

Incredible that a player can have a 16-game point streak only a quarter of the way into the season, yet, not crack the NHL's top 50 scorers.
