Fastest Skater Contest - Jake Virtanen
Accuracy Shooting Challenge - Elias Pettersson
Breakaway Relay - Elias Pettersson
Puck Control Relay - Elias Pettersson
Hardest Shot - Erik Gudbranson (if he's participating), if not, Edler I suppose. Edler's shot hasn't been nearly as hard in recent years though. Wouldn't be surprised to see a different winner.

Oh the irony of the name.

Not really.

We sure do have skill.   We lack a little puck luck and officiating at times though.  Brock with the crossbar and Stars goal that was clearly GI but, hey, don't let that stop us from getting the L.

I think the timing of this is perfect.  These kids deserve some fun...they have been battling hard and it's got to be deflating to be losing.  Hope they can continue to bond through this process and don't let the mental stuff linger.  This too shall pass and there are some good things to take away...even in losses.   They're showing great prospect for the future and have given us some exciting hockey.  With some fine tuning and better officiating, our future is bright.

This is a good way to shake it off, if at least momentarily.

Edler can't take slapshots because of his shoulder
