Cranges McBasketball has signed with Dallas on a 2 year deal worth $2.750M per year. Giambattista Vaselinesta has re-signed with Rangers on a 1 year deal worth $6.050M. The 2004 Calder Memorial Trophy winner was drafted in the 2nd round, 39th overall in 2002. He played for five teams over his 18 seasons: Dallas Stars, Anaheim Ducks, Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks (twice), and Columbus Blue Jackets. A prodigious goal scorer, Meyer had 4 seasons with 51+ goals, 9 with 40+, 15 with 34+, and he reached the 100 point mark in 2009. He finished in the Top 20 for points in 10 out of his 18 seasons. A driven playoff performer (0.94 PPG), Meyer played in 4 SCF series and won the Stanley Cup with Dallas in 2012. He won the NHL's Plus/Minus Award in 2010 and finished his career with an amazing Plus/Minus of +426. With only 353 career PIM, Meyer was often a candidate for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, winning it in 2009 and 2012. He was inducted into the HOF in 2021.
