Are you a social media-consuming puppet for globalist agenda?

Yes or no?

Same question, once you cut your strings and ties to MSM, and think for yourself.

can I be a globalist and not be a social media consuming puppet?

Global TV in Lethbridge exposed a group of these Yellow Vest folks, who are known National Socialists. When they first started protesting, which is their right to do so, I wondered how long before the nutcase element would come out. I watched the guy question Trudeau in Kamloops on the news last night, and man, this is frightening stuff, on how clueless people are on immigration matters. The first line is usually, they're taking our jobs, and costing us money. Funny how silent Scheer has been on this, threatening lives of reporters and the Prime Minister of Canada is very serious stuff. Another thought, you have to give Trudeau credit for wading into these forums when the heat is on, he seems to thrive on this platform. Would Harper, Scheer, or Singh do this?  And no, I'm not a Liberal supporter

Agreed, he has been absolutely silent.  As has Kenney, in fact UCP candidates have been very prominent at the Alberta rallies.

This is not a joke anymore, these people are threatening the lives of and families of media and politicians.  That is not acceptable and while these facebook group mods claim to be anti violence, simply visit the yellow vest canada page and you will see clearly the endless amounts of violence, vitriol, disinformation and more against anyone to the left

And the moment you speak up against it, you're either a puppet, globalist or one of them and can be kicked from the group.

So have my many family members in Alberta, to them its all about "our jobs, and our economy"

"Nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care.." George Carlin and his political stand up rant. And this was what, 20 years ago? The latter is at least true. I had this discussion the other day with my mother about the state of things. And ultimately she was like, "well, there's really nothing you can do." Unfortunately that is the mentality of most people because they've been jerked around by the establishment for far too long it's become the acceptable norm. I completely disagree. Develop clear, realistic, and concise demands and expectations, organize and mobilize, and have a 100,000 man march on Parliament Hill. Shut that down for a couple days. Similarly to what happened in Paris. Force the government to take notice and make concessions. Get away from protesting on the side of the road because that is a total waste of time and effort. Unfortunately, the yellow vesters here seem to be nothing more than a handful of retards who got off the Fox News Facebook page and took their lunacy outside..

Retards?

Is that how you speak about other people or is it just how you see their views?

You’re better than that, and I’m not meaning or railing against your choice or words the usual, PC way.

You’re falling into the division game and dismissing/labelling or branding people, wholesale.

We have to get out of the division politics rut, always watchful and condemning the ‘other’ and get back to genuine discussion and debate. You’re idea and post was going great until you did that. I lack the capacity to do much more than cheerlead, but maybe it does some good regardless. It’s all I can do.

This forum sees this kind of discourse as the norm, much like your mom was eluding to about the masses being duped into picking sides from ‘the establishment.’

The establishment... the thing nobody, nobody here or in politics or MSM is willing to identify. The day we admit who or what the establishment is, is the day we start to take control of our everything.

Once you convince others where their ideas tend to derive from, yes.

Im not in the one world government camp, but I do strongly believe in the benefits if immigration, multiculturalism and trade, so I suppose that makes me globalist-ish. But I think there is objective evidence of the benefit of these things, and I thought this before facebook was invented.

I heard that word a long, long, time ago, back in the days of my long hair, hippy dippy times. The late 60's. They were protesting wars, back then, now it seems anyone who is different is a target. People won't organize as you would like, because, there are far too many factions of people and demands, with completely different agendas. Somehow, somewhere, the ugly faction gets involved as well, on both sides of the argument.

I was thinking after I read your response of my post. How many of you remember the "death threats" etc., that Rachel Notleys Government was getting shortly after they were elected? I do recall a member of her cabinet either resigning, or thinking about doing so, because of her bill she was trying to put forth. It would be interesting to see, who or what was behind those threats. The Conservative element in Alberta sure couldn't stand being on the sidelines, after decades of power.

I remember them

People's responses ranged from

We don't mean it

To

She's destroyed the economy and she's a socialist terrorist

That's not even a joke.  These are literal excuses given to justify threatening to rape and murder elected officials.

Doesn't matter that none of them are true.  I don't care what people say, that level of violence seems to be prominent from only one side of the fence

Actually YES they do. That's why they are in that position. They worked to get to that position and hold 400 time the responsibility, stress and accountability.

Stress? Meh, line cooks, servers and air traffic controllers are up there along with several other positions.

Nothing says accountability like running a company into the ground and getting millions in compensation for it.

I just can't believe in the whole "yellow vest" stuff.

Do I want some of the things on that list to happen? Sure. However, this is more of a mob mentality rather than actually solving issues and I question how many ulterior motives there ends up being from all of this.
