Greenman Wannabe
Well that was an absolute heartbreaker... That non-call was absolute nonsense, I don't know how they don't call that. I knew it was going to be a hard fought game, and I'm proud of the team, but they deserved a way better fate in this one. Hand it to Brassoit as he played great, but our boys need to hit the net when they have golden opportunities like they did.

Not the canucks fault they were out playing the jets and drawing penalties that weren't called

Heh, I have Hellebuck in my pool so I follow who plays the Jets games. This is probably the toughest test he's had all year. He generally only plays teams at the very bottom of the standings. I like the way our team is progressing, and I like the way we're playing. Do I wish we had a few more wins? I do, and we easily could. We're still young and sometimes that shows." - Green

Ours went by the way side. Good hard fought game. Low scoring, but wasn't boring. Marky still playing outta his mind. Team is still super young, sooner or later they'll start to capitalize on these opportunities as they gain more experience. refs

Toyotasfan
I hate blaming the refs all the time , if our PP isn’t getting it done sooner or later we have to score 5 on 5 .

Refs didn't give up a 4 on 2 that led to the game winning goal. Missed calls are apart of the game and you gotta be ready and capitalize on your chances regardless of the reffing. We didn't, we lost. We'll get better.
bree2
I am so sick of the incompetent reffing. there was some pretty bad penalties not called . refs sucked all night and the jets are a very dirty team. they won't get far in the race if they have to get help from the refs when playing a rebuilding team

They didn't call it and that's not an easy job for the refs, but late in the game it's a penalty. It's a high stick on Jake in the first period, double minor. Those are penalties. bigbadcanucks
Found myself getting mad at the refs, Canucks players, Jets players, my dogs, my wife, etc. while watching this game. I haven't gotten mad about a Canucks game since the Canucks were bounced out in Round 1 to the Sharks in the spring of 2013. I think this means that I'm expecting our Canucks to win every game, because the Canucks are now good enough to compete on a night-after-night basis. IMO, winning for the Canucks has now evolved to a bounce here, a bounce there, a call here, a missed call there (as opposed to being plainly bad, as the Canucks have been for the last few seasons). I am loving how Benning has assembled a talented group of forwards and how this young talented team is competing every game. To get mad about a game for reasons cited means that it is a great time to be a Canucks fan once again.
WHL rocks
Jets didn't play a great game. They were tired. 9 games in 16 nights.. tired team. Their goalie kept them in it or it would have been over in the 2nd period.

True, but that can be said about both teams. Canucks took it to them and just missed the net too many times!
