Pettersson, 20, becomes the youngest Canucks player and just the third Canucks rookie (Tallon, Boeser) named to the honour. Pettersson leads all rookies in goals (19), assists (20), points (39), power-play goals (tied, 5), power-play assists (7), power-play points (12), game-winning goals (6) and shooting percentage (26.0%). The Sundsvall, Sweden, native has registered two five-point games this season, becoming the sixth rookie in the NHL's expansion era to record multiple five-point games within a season. The NHL's Rookie of the Month recipient for the months of October and December, Pettersson also leads Canucks skaters in goals, assists, points, points per game (1.08), power-play goals (tied), power-play assists (tied) power-play points, game-winning goals and shooting percentage.
