189lb enforcers?
Some teams slipping. Washington, Pittsburgh... Ducks and Coilers still are. Been an interesting stretch to watch AO become the top Russian player in the NHL and for Big Joe to pass guys like Dionne in the all time assists stat. Patty Marleau is climbing a few categories with each game for games played and points. I’m getting old.
189lb enforcers?
https://www.quanthockey.com/nhl/records/nhl-players-all-time-points-leaders.html Big Joe could tie or pass Selanne for points in his next game, which I think is against the Canucks. Impressive. Respect.

I'm surprised they took this long to make this change. Carlyle has about a two year shelf life with each team he coaches.
mll
Hat trick for Tarasenko. The Blues are playing really well. They look legit. On 1 January they only had 34pts - lowest in the league. They now have 59pts for a wildcard spot.

Fenton is on the fence with his team. The other day he said it's one thing to stay in the game and another to bring the game to the opposition. St Louis are bringing the game to the opposition - they are playing like a top team. Minnesota is staying in the game (less and less these days). mll
Nashville with again another loss. Their 1st line is really good. Forsberg is something else - he's playing like a powerforward who has the skills of a finesse player. They need to fix their 2nd line. Poile last week: “We have to have a second line that’s got to produce on a more consistent basis than they did in the second half of last season and in the playoffs,” he said at a press conference last Wednesday.
