Minnesota really don't seem too keen to make the post season. Another move to keep the 'slump' going ?

The Wild are in free fall. They are 1-6-3 and again got booed off the ice last night after losing 4-0 to Anaheim with rookie coach GM Murray behind the bench.

Minnesota looks to be heading towards a dismantling of their core.  Fenton has received the green light last week to do whatever it takes to build a legit contender including missing the playoffs for the 1st time in 7 years.  They don't want to just make the playoffs year after year and right now the feeling is that they are just not good enough.  Their untouchables are for sure Dumba, Greenway, Kunin, Kaprisov and probably also Eriksson Ek as well as the NMCs Parise, Suter and Koivu.

Is that a lot to have paid?  I like Coyle.  He will be a good fit in Boston.

Don't know the prospect.  Coyle is worth it, probably. Slumping recently, whatever.  He is a strong forward.  Will fit right on with Boston.
