NUCKER67
What? They don't want to try and make a run for the playoffs with the mediocre team they have, just for the sake of getting in?

They are 1-6-3 and again got booed off the ice last night after losing 4-0 to Anaheim with rookie coach GM Murray behind the bench. Minnesota looks to be heading towards a dismantling of their core. Fenton has received the green light last week to do whatever it takes to build a legit contender including missing the playoffs for the 1st time in 7 years. They don't want to just make the playoffs year after year and right now the feeling is that they are just not good enough. Their untouchables are for sure Dumba, Greenway, Kunin, Kaprisov and probably also Eriksson Ek as well as the NMCs Parise, Suter and Koivu. Yep, packin' er in. One less for us to beat for the playoffs. Next question would be if they have anything we'd want to make a play for, and vice versa.

WHL rocks
Why can't Canucks have a 6'3 220lbs bruising forward.
SingleThorn
So which trade happened ? Donato + 5th or Zboril + 2nd ?
canuck73_3
Coyle fits the Boston mould should be a real good fit.
Keenan's Moustache
Charlie Coyle may be 6'3" and 220 lbs, but hardly bruising.....

He's not a bruising forward btw. There's not a lot of meanness in Coyle.

Dixon Ward
How far off is Sutter? He is a better all around player than Coyle imho. If we could get a prospect like Donato(only a rhd) and a pick, I would go for it.

Hit totals should go up a bit with some of the nasty games the Bruins play especially with games left against Tampa, Columbus, and Winnipeg still on the schedule. Those hit totals aren't bad for a forward with some skill.
