D-Money
He's been BRUTAL this year. But if he manages to find his game, could be a great add for the Avs, who are hanging around in the playoff race.
timberz21
Not a lot of depth in Colorado after their top line. Brassard should have more responsabilities, might help him find his game like it did when he arrived in Ottawa.
mll
Florida is in Colorado tonight.
Tystick
Avs making a small push, adding some depth. Good trade for Florida.

Like the guys on Snet said this allows Colorado to load up with the big 3 on one line if needed and still have a line 2 threat. Good low cost pick up by the Avs.
JeremyCuddles
Good deal for the Avs, they need depth scoring like a bad habit. No point committing to the tank when Ottawa is doing it for them. Avs should do their best to make the playoffs. Getting a top 5/6 pick regardless. Lol. 3rd rounder is nothin' too for a potential top 6 player depending on whether or not he can turn his season around.
Spoosh
Sounds mild, but indicates how tough it is to get good return when no teams (except CBJ) are ready to give up picks or anyone beyond hasbeen players

So it's essentially a 4th rounder if they get Kakko or Hughes from Ottawa's 1st. Really good deal for the Avs.
coryberg
Lol I had a poster going off a few weeks ago about how brassard would get a 1st at the deadline. Not going to waste my time digging up the quote but you know who you are.
