When we lack "team toughness" and skill. The skilled guys we do have are playing above their skill level due to lack of depth. 

Tell me Petey doesn't usually make a quick play 1)to create offense and 2) so hes not getting hammered on.

 We are playing dump and chase , hard on the body. 

We have a super weak power play.

If we could punish teams with goals they will think twice about liberties. Since we cant score, there is little deterrent to rough up and hack our players.

Well! If Benning said it, it must be true.  God knows he wouldn't use hyperbole and exaggeration to lessen his culpability for the lousy state of affairs.  It's not like he didn't use the excuse the year before, or the year before that.  Time for Dim Jim to be shown the door.  5 years later the team is still a mess.

Yes...it's actually great...two stations, both mostly Canucks.

“Dim Jim”. That’s kind of funny, and it rhymes too!  You must be a &$*#$&*& genius to come up with that!  

JB is building us a Cup level core.  Now he needs to add EK, bring back Tryamkin, and BOOM!  Bob’s your uncle.

Injuries are a lame excuse, this team isn't that good and still needs a lot of pieces to be a playoff contender.  I'd be looking at a new GM if I was ownership.

This has been an ongoing issue for years now and I am astounded that JB hasn't addressed this issue yet. Years and years of injuries and liberties taken to multiple players, including Petey, and still no big bodied guys who can punish the opposition.

Roussel is our closest to the that type of player and he is basically the only one who can play in the top 6. We had Dorsett before him and that's it. Guddy didn't live up to expectations.

Many were suggesting a "Ferlund" type player and I don't know if management realizes how important this type of player is to the team.

The other thing that we are seeing is that the opposition seems to have a step on us and I believe its because they have no worry about getting hit and basically skate circles around us because of it. It affects us both offensively and defensively.

The injury problem might be staring us right in the face and could be rectified by adding some big bodied, aggressive players who can play in the top 6. Oh, and a couple of "regular sized" defenseman ,who can hit, would be nice too.
