Provost
According to TSN, he is reporting right to the Canucks. Maybe something about eligibility for Utica?

So RFA and has to be re-signed before next season.

gizmo2337
I say slot him in for the rest of the season. What do we have to lose? A higher lottery spot? Two more contract slots left. Anyone else we can sign and preview for next season?

EP Phone Home
While I do get excited about new prospects and all. I really do wonder what are we doing with Matt Brassard. He is doing so well for a 7th round pick and I have no clue why we haven’t given him a contract yet. His stats and size is very impressive for where we took him. Not knocking this signing but just curious about the prospects we have that aren’t signed.

I wouldn't expect to see anything until after their season & playoffs are done.
billabong
Can’t wait to see a free prospect! It’s a no lose situation for a college try out
Dixon Ward
I was hoping for Duzsak, as he is a rhd and scored more, but any free asset can't hurt. He'll have an audition and then we'll see.

NUCKER67
Great! Although, the Canucks have too many LDs: Edler Hutton Hughes* Pouliot* Sautner Brisebois McEneny Juolevi Rathbone Gunnarsson Brassard Utunen Tryamkin and now Teves ...and also maybe Byram? * plays both sides (any others?) Nuxfanabroad
Sautner, Eliot, Teves..appears for mid/late season freebie-signings, we've been going with these non-flashy, mid-sized, 'sedan' type D-men. I imagine they all must share decent wheels/manoeuvrability? Will be interesting to see if any of them truly pan out. A Brian Rafalski type steal, would sure boost the blueline. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, as they say...
