What role did Loui have on Horvats line and how many minutes with Horvat did he get!? Because he knows that in an exhibition Euro game no one is going to make him pay for going to the net. 1

We'll very likely get our guy at 10, so why take a lesser player on a longer deal with a NMC to move up 2 spots? Anything short of Byram being at 8 isn't worth moving up 2 spots. And if Byram were there why would Edmonton pass him up? Picking 8th overall as opposed to 10th overall will make a big difference to Jim Benning. If we were picking after NY Rangers in 2017, we wouldn't have Elias Petersson. They had the 7th overall pick and we had the 5th. Think of the difference between having Cody Glass or Lias Andersson as opposed to Elias. Anaheim Ducks have the 9th overall pick and they're one of the best drafting teams, so jumping ahead of them and Edmonton makes a huge difference in my opinion. Wouldn’t bother trying to be logical with this guy, he doesn’t think highly of our actual roster players, Bear was calculated risk that worked out great, the past two years when he’s played he’s definitely shown he belongs in the top six, Granlund is definitely a tier above Megna and Chaput, not flashy but a serviceable utility player, and has some use in the shoot-outs although this year wasn’t as good. He thinks Shinkaruk would have been just as good which is hilarious.

I really like the Pearson deal, if we get that guy who showed up at the end of the season its a pretty nice deal for us. Management shifted when they traded Burrows and Hansen, and the days is using good/very good (Vrabta/Miller) was over. It’s created an ambience of that he’s gun shy since LE given how active he was each year in the off season, aside from the minor signings..however it’s what we needed to do (bottom out) that’s happend now and we are on the upswsing.. Boeserker 483
Bye, Felicia is a dismissive term which can be used in a number of different contexts. Most simply and frequently, it is used as a cold way to bid someone a less-than-fond farewell.

So bearschit getting a 13 minute free ride on the top 3 lines is just as fair as 13 seconds on the fourth line? Please. he didn’t make it because we already ruined him and Calgary is way more stacked than we are. i am not saying he would be a star or anything. But if he was gifted 13 minutes for 4 seasons in a row he would be at least as good as baerschit and jv. Not very good but that’s not the point. The point is baerschi and Granlund got free rides too so people shouldn’t whine too much about LE whining. At least he paid his dues unlike some of other hacks. Or perhaps management did not see the potential compared to bear or jake. But, hey they have way less hockey experience/knowledge than you. Which team do you work for again? 1
R3aL 2,115
We should be happy, he finished the year kinda well on bo’s wing with pearson and now he’s scoring internationally and saying it’s because of our coach... boost that trade value and let’s offload him woo! Unless the player is a more in demand player I will call it...only then would the new team be asked or feel obligated to retain that NMC. Lucic's recent fall in play means if he wants a fresh start he is going to have to be open where he goes and won't have that NMC protection anymore

vannuck59 728
I would think people would get the trade or deal would be for Edmonton's First 8th overall ,not including our 10th I repeat our tenth is not on the table

cuporbust 6,448
Well there goes the preferential treatment he was getting hopefully . Plan to see his az in the press box finally. What a clown.
