Krug bro fisting the backup goaltender is what you need from your team. Like yours truly said many times, the experience of the brawny Boston Bruins is coming to play and are aiming for the biggest prize in sports. This is great!

Bruins are playing for each other. It will be a great day for the Canucks when we have that kind of camaraderie.

The same can be said for the Blues. They are playing hard and they play for each other. Two great teams going at each other. I’m enjoying this series a lot more than the last few.

All the talk about the officiating and diving detracts from the games. May the best team win.

Couldn't get the last one to work. Regardless, you're going to defend this chode? Seriously? Why the hell would anyone one absolutely floors me. This piece of trash is allowed to do whatever wants and nobody even bats an eye anymore. It's f**king disgusting.

Don't waste your time my friend. Some people just want to go against whatever most of CDC is in favour of, which in this case is St. Louis.

It's pretty apparent based on their short 'meme-like' answers, or by deflecting/ignoring the subject when called out. Aside from the one guy who's claimed to be a Canucks/Bruins fan for years, the others are just trolling.

No one that has a grain of empathy in their body could cheer for marchand. Some of his antics I could even find amusing in a Kesler kind of way, if it weren't for the head shots or low bridges. When someone doesn't value the safety of others, they have no regard for anyone but themself. That's the type of player that shouldn't be respected by anyone.

And that's exactly why some people pretend to love him. It's the toxic twitter-style trolling that's become more and more rampant in recent years. You can bet if there's a response to this, it'll be some overused meme or a lame duck answer to just get over it, blues are even dirtier, or some other insane justification they've convinced themselves is true.

It's a shame really.

Of course Boston gets this. They are being outplayed 5 on 5 & get that Carlo bounce to seal a game 7.

Even getting here, as great as Rask as been, all the top dogs go out in round 1 & they end up facing the wildcard teams (plus the Laffs) in a cakewalk to the final.

Its like LA in 2012, beat us without our best player, then its Nashville, PHX & NJ in a cakewalk to the cup. (Though unlike LA the B's have a legitimate opponent in the finals, I'll give them that)

Meanwhile sad club teams like Vancouver & St.Louis have to go through hell & highwater just to get to the finals. We're Frank Grimes & Boston is Homer Simpson.

This is one of the best, significant, and most self-aware posts I've ever seen on CDC. Nice one!

It's so cutting edge to go against the grain.  Except it isn't.  It's sad that some trash our team...supposedly their team, in the process...the rest I don't take too seriously.  But that part is alarming.

Look, I'm all for glomming on to another bandwagon when our team's out...but not at their expense.  Ever.

I even like the Blackhawks now...so it's not about "not letting go".

The Bruins are despicable.  And other fans support that thinking, it's not isolated to Vancouver.

They're good, ok, but momentum's huge in this thing.  The NHL's darlings have been given the key to the league.  Their Daddy even worked in the disciplinary end of things when we played them.  Some things just can't be forgiven or forgotten.

Marchand is a lowlife.  And his followers?  Well I'll let them sort that out themselves.

I find it amusing.  It is trolling and so I don't get too bothered by it.  Until someone starts slamming one of our own.  Daniel's hands may have been tied, but I fight back.

I don't think it's slamming anyone to suggest Daniel should have responded. His lack of response was embarrassing.

Marchand was being a dirtbag and deserved to get throttled for that, but no one including Daniel did anything. Fact.

How Daniel got a 10 minute misconduct for that is mind boggling though.

Do you really want to die on the Bruins hill?

Put the last line in the forefront and you'll understand some of it.

Daniel was trying to do what was right for his team.  NOT react emotionally (selfishly) because that's what rats like Marchand want.  That's the tactic they use to throw a good player off their game...it worked.  Saw him throw a slewfoot out there tonight.  He's still begging for someone to kill him..except Todd Bertuzzi'll tell him how that plays out.  Don't do it.

The league did fail, miserably.  Marchand has deserved a lot of things that have not happened.

It takes a bigger man to stand there.  Do I wish he pummeled that puke?  Sure do.  But he didn't stoop to the level.   Someone will.  And they'll probably bear the brunt of it.

I guess the takeaway in this is....how can you cheer for a "dirtbag".  Once a dirtbag always a dirtbag in my view.  The leopard doesn't change his spots.

Can't blame him for following the coach's instructions to a tee.  AV's the one who decided to have the team walk away from the post-whistle stuff.

Same way people here cheered for Cooke, Kesler and Burrows. Every team has dirtbags.

Headhundqvist, Blais and Perron are greasy dirtbags on the Blues. Gryzelcyk is out of the series due to a headshot.

Picture of my TV room with the Bobby Orr and Thomas Gradin framed pictures I have for @Jaku and any other fans here that doubt both my Canuck and Bruin allegiance.

Was a mistake imo, team was walked all over after that. It was an embarrassing display.

Letting it go after the first 2 or 3 punches sure, the following 7, he should have responded.
