This total POS is a blight on the NHL. His actual talent and skill is overshadowed by his totally gutless and thoughtless actions, that once again, are seemingly allowed by the league to continue. While I don't like to condone headhunting in the game, Sharthand is the one player in the league presently who probably no one outside of Boston (and Twilight and 73_3) would feel bad for if he was injured in game.

I’ve always said if the DOPS won’t do their job, someone else will eventually get sick of this walking pile of garbage and do it for them.

Pretty much. How many times has he been given a suspension, and has it really curbed his complete disregard for the safety of other players?

St Louis played ok, had some trouble finising, but didn't quite look like a team that was ready to win.  Disappointing.

Hopefully that's not the case in game 7.  Would be nice to see them take it - and two in a row - in Boston's building.

I agree. The urgency seemed to leave their game in the second.

It's important that Binnington doesn't let them distract him as they've been doing.

They take those whacks and hacks (like they did with Luo) and he seems to be lashing out a bit and letting it get under his skin (hmm, sounds familiar).  Best thing he can do is completely ignore them.  They like attention so act like they're invisible and lock in on the puck.

Boston's used those tactics for forever and, problem is and especially in these emotionally charged games, teams buy in.

One more game of their antics and we can wash our mouths out with soap and never talk about them again.  Ever.   Hang in there, Canuck fans.

And the useless officials let that Barnum and Bailey stuff corrode the game instead of cracking down on it.

Marchand could use the butt end of a stick right on the eye socket. That said he's a great guy right?

The witch hunt against bradley must stop!

As sad as it is to see the hockey season ending. It’s nice to see a game 7 for the first time in awhile. But for god sake it’ll sure be nice for this trolling and Bruins daisy chain to be put to bed.

No trolling--just FACTS!

To watch the Bruins lose at home in game 7 is what I've been waiting for since the Bruins beat the Loser Leafs in round one.  I'm looking forward to watching the Bruins players and fans watching the Blues hoist the cup on Boston ice.

The Brawny Boston Bruins know how to win BIGGLY in game 7's, and yours truly SUCCESSFULLY predicted a game 7, and it will be the first time in YEARS  since a Stanley Cup was won at home. This not a prediction, it's a SPOILER!

Many salt tears will be shed in Boston after they lose game 7 in OT.  So many tears of salt that the ice will melt.

And a sequel video to the stone cold fight club that ensued after game five. Looking forward to see what kind of class those Boston fans show after the result of game seven. True colors and facts will be put on display. Win or lose may the best team be victorious on Wednesday.

He didn't have back issues, but he had shoulder injuries, surgery, etc.  so I feel it's rather presumptuous to connect dots as you have without considering that he was, by no means, injury free prior to Rome's hit.  And, the fact of the matter is, he was there hoisting the cup shortly thereafter.  Raymond's injury can definitely be pinpointed to a smash into the boards that caused serious injury.  You've yet to address the fan reaction?  You're quick to point out our actions, but how can you overlook that so easily?

I, too, will be glad when this Boston lovefest is over.  It's nauseating.  I forgive, but I don't forget and the people putting our team down for 2011?  SMH.

While it may not be against the rules, it's rather alarming in a seriously displaced loyalty way.  I get cheering for another team....but not when it comes with throwing ours under their bus.

Fan reaction I have zero control over, fans here roared when Bertuzzi broke Moore’s neck.

I wouldn't have cheered either incident, so what fans I have zero control over is neither here nor there to me.

well to be fair the live audience didn't know moore's neck was broken. its sad because that was pretty much the end of the WCE era. bert and nazzy were just never the same

The other difference is that there was a bit of a line brawl going on so the crowd wasn't directing their cheers/jeers AT Moore...they were reacting to the on ice stuff that was taking place.

When Raymond was down, it was just him, face down - play stopped and the crowd booing him.

I, for one, did NOT cheer when Moore was lying there...I felt sick.  It's a sport...it's not supposed to end with people having potentially life altering injuries.
