Chara returns for the third

I had a wisdom tooth hurting and I didn't even want to move. Chara takes a puck to the teeth and he's coming back to battle. Unreal.

Even I'll agree there.  When the NHL gets the refs to clean up their act, I hope they start calling only the dive, no matter what.

I haaaaaate the obsession with calling the dive+penalty. I get that in some cases it can apply, but most often it just seems like the refs are afraid to make the call for a dive alone.

Calling both removes any consequence for diving.  I don't care what the other guy did, if you flop around on the ice, only you should go.  Only way to get it out of the game.  Some of this garbage looks like soccer.

Just in to say Binnington really sucks.  To even question that he should have a shot at the Calder is ludicrous.  You see how easily he loses his net?  He looks like a Jacob Markstrom before this year

Nah, he deserves to be in the conversation. However, Petey is the winner.

I'm speculating xD but it's just a little blood. He'll be fine

Still. He's a beast. I know a guy that went to the Cougars on a try-out when Chara was on the team. He tried hitting him and he said that Chara rocked him. He tried engaging him in a scrum and almost had his head tore off by him.

I'd do everything in my power to make sure Zdeno was a very close friend of mine.

Koci was a huge man also and Chara just worked him. Why in the hell would anyone try to engage him physically? Ever.

Not really. Your team was about to be on a PP and then you took them off of it by diving.

Given the frequency it's called, combined with the refs choosing to ignore obvious penalties without diving, most coaches are probably ok with the risk.  Calling only the dive will result in coaches holding their own guys accountable.
