Primary grades including French immersion is accessible for free to teachers across the Province. The Fin’s Friends program has reached out to almost 60,000 students over the last five years. As he has for each of his 10 years with the Canucks, FIN celebrated his birthday with children from Canuck Place in a private function on Friday, June 3. The milestone birthday will also see FIN celebrate his special day at Party On the Plaza with Canuck fans prior to Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals on June 4. Party On the Plaza, presented by Canadian Tire, will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday with a special presentation for FIN beginning at 3:30 PM including a birthday cake provided by Save-On-Foods. FIN’s statistics over the last 10 years: - Appeared at 369 regular season games - 6 All-star Games (2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011) - Will make his 9th consecutive appearance at the Annual Celebrity Mascot Games in Orlando, Florida this July - Has made almost 1350 appearance in the community (including Lower Mainland, BC, Canada, and USA) - Social Media Profiles: Facebook -FIN Orca and Twitter - CANUCKSFIN That is a eight-year-old article.
