thundernuts
It will be interesting to hear the terms on this one. Always liked Eberle. Loved that the Coilers got fleeced on that trade too! EDIT: 5.5 seems fair. Will likely be an overpayment for the last 5 years, but he was going to get paid somewhere. Alflives
that's an excellent deal for both sides. Happy for Eberle. He get out of Edmonton, and goes to a team that has players with heart, and desire to be teammates.

HKSR
That's actually a great deal for NYI considering the dollars that fly around these days. Prior to this season, he has been a consistent 20+ goal and 50+ point producer. That's actually good value for the money. Likely be an overpayment fir the last 5 years....of his 5 year contract. :p 5

I didn't realize you could cherry pick stats for a contract negotiation. In that case, Boeser started off the season cold so he should only get $4M per season going forward. Islanders seem to be on the team on the rise and they’ve got a great coach.

Its not what have you done in the past its what you have done now and last season he had 37 points. If its what you have done in the past then Loui is a great offensive player thats worth over 6 mil per...

Loui has steadily been declining whereas Jordan had an off season but really showed up in the playoffs which showed there should no reason he won't pick it up again next season.
SealTheDeal
Based on projected contracts, this one looks really good. . . Evolving Hockey estimated 6M and 7 years if he went to free agency. . . they had Skinner pegged at $8.5M for 8. . . https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15E1qqh3OfHvvhbv_pICfKT7VR1jJEVhWQOyKviWLN54/edit#gid=707766415

-AJ-
If Eberle returns to his 60-point form, this could be a steal. Last year he was a 19-goal 37-point guy though, in which case this would be a bit of an over payment. The jury's still out on this one.

Exactly this - but I think he definitely bounces back and this contract will be great for the Isles.
