Did he b!tch slap you at Richards on Richards or was it in the school yard you so pissed son?

In order to hit me Looch would have to be able to get a hold of me and we’ve all seen his lightening fast hand eye coordination hahaha 1.2 million per goal last season lol

Perhaps he could be relevant again with a fresh start, outside a hockey crazed Canadian market.

I just feel that since he has been unable to get his game back in order over the last 2 years (given opportunities to play with Connor and Leon) he is lacking confidence or the speed of the game has passed him by. Things happen so fast out there now compared to even 3-4 years ago. Not sure he can process what is happening on the ice or even predict what will happen and thus his game has eroded so drastically. And for that contract, HARD PASS.

Again, Lucic and Puljujarvi I would take in a second. I think Lucic is mature enough and passionate enough that his game could be turned around here. As for Puljujarvi, he’s young enough and hasn’t played enough Deadmonton games to be forever Yakupoved.

Agree to disagree. I think you make valid points but even if the Oilers included Poolparty I would hesitate on pulling the trigger. Feel we have team toughness in spades now with Miller, Ferland, Benn, Roussel, making Lucic redundant.

If Erickson's game hadn't nosedived as well, this conversation wouldn't even be happening. Two teams wanting to move their respective bad contracts.

At the end of the day, GMJB will do what he thinks is best for this team moving forward. With the moves he's already made this summer, I just don't think it makes sense.

You are definitely right that it does make less and less sense as Benning does his moves.

It states spring not fall original post was edited one min later. No need to be a dick.

As I said you have no idea what you’re talking about. Do everyone {yourself included} a favor and take the time to educate yourself prior to shooting your mouth off.

Nikita is in the final year of his contract at the combine in Buffalo JB and Nikita’s agent Paul Diamond discussed his return. Tryamkin has been following the team and is enticed at the possibility of playing with Hughes.

further more his contract is up prior to the end of the NHL season. He will be back.

Dont make assumptions it makes an ass out of you and me lol. Educate yourself.

Pot meet kettle. Strong wording.

I can't imagine why a GM in their right mind would take on Eriksson without a good asset(s) coming back or swapping another bad contract.

Unless they can figure out some way with Loui to get out of his contract, or they retain salary (maybe??), I think he'll be back on the team at the start of next season.

Tryamkin still has 2 years on his KHL contract. There has been NOTHING said about his return, especially that quickly so I have no idea what you're talking about.

Cool story

now for the facts...Tram’s contract is done at the end of the upcoming KHL season. He has NOT said he is coming back to Vancouver however he has said he hasn’t ruled it out and he still follows the team closely.

i would not bet against him joining us late this season once the KHL season winds up.

Ericksson is basically making the same as the list of players below once his bonus is paid in a few days:

schaller.PNG.f6175d619e00a07c02fd52a50b64bafe.PNG

He is basically now a 3rd line forward that can chip in about 30 points while making a team's PK better.

Those players making the same actual money as him had the following points last year:

Ericksson 29

Sheary 34

Athanasiou 54

Komarov 26

Beagle 13

Filppula 31

Roussel 31

So ignoring his cap hit (assuming a team well below the cap would take him) Ericksson is basically getting about the same points as most guys getting paid the same amount of actual money. Plus Ericksson can penalty kill.

No reason JB can't trade this contract / player without having to give up a 1st like some are panicking about imo.  Maybe a small add or take back a bad 1 year contract.

Edit: believe it or not some teams need some actual NHL players to play games for them and they may not be that picky just as the Canucks were not that picky over the past 4 years. Luckily for us the Canucks are no longer in that position where they just need warm bodies and mediocre players are not needed as fillers anymore.

Mature?   The clown can't even get through a handshake line without making a complete disgrace of himself.  He should stay in the cesspool he in so he won't have to worry about ever having to conduct himself like a professional in the playoffs,

Isn't so long ago.  He still refuses to take a clean hit like a man, teaching the young guys in Edmonton to spear guys in the balls instead.  Doesn't seem like a guy who's grown up at all to me, especially when his gutless play results in the team being shorthanded.  He can stay in Edmonton where all the fans started life with brain damage due to the inbreeding.

I just joined man I’m not here to argue with people but if someone tells me the guys got 2 years remaining and is rude in the way he brought it up I obviously will correct him. I’m not some CDC troll I’m tossing this article up, abit old now but I’m sure we will see Nikita here this season.

Now back to Eriksson .... either move him for picks, a player we can buyout relatively easy or simply burry him in the minors/keep him as our 13th forward w/e we have no pressure to move him and certainly not for Lucic when we already have

Ferland

Roussel

Benn

Miller

Virtanen

we have grit and a bite to us there’s no spot for either Looch or LE in the top 9
